Versatile Vacuum any area of your home
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell Cleanview Max Lift-off is a great versatile vacuum for any home! Our home has a mix of hardwoods, carpet, and area rugs. This vacuum worked well on each surface. With 3 kids in our house, the floors getting pretty messy, especially the kitchen. The Cleanview Max Lift-off does a great job sucking up crumbs of various sizes, although I noticed sometimes I’d need to aim the crumbs right for the center of the vacuum to get it sucked up on the first try. It sucked up tons of lint off our area rugs. I love the see-through canister-no bags!- because you know when it’s full to empty it. Emptying the canister is easy, just release the opening straight over your trash can. The wand feature is helpful for under our baseboard heating registers and in tight spaces around furniture. On of my favorite features is the “lift-off”! This makes it so easy to vacuum my stairs without carrying a heavy full size vacuum and better suction than a small handheld. My only complaint is I wish there was an additional On/Off switch was on the wand when using it in normal vacuum mode. I have a toddler who is a little scared of vacuums, so I normally hold her when I vacuum. That was difficult to do with this vacuum because I needed to hold the vacuum in one hand after releasing it from the standing position, then use my other hand to turn on the switch. A minor detail that probably won’t be an issue much longer!
Power vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum does exactly what you want it to do: it sucks... up all the dirt. This thing is easy to use, easy to empty, and gets the job done! I used this vacuum on my recently cleaned carpet (done with my old 8yr old vacuum) and, as you can see from the picture, this vacuum still found plenty to get off the ground. It's pretty maneuverable, and can swivel around edges well. It is light enough that my 4yr old was able to push it around and use it decently well. Also easy enough to empty that the 4yr old could do that himself. I really like the wand attachment. I feel like it does a better job than others that I've had. The vacuum claims to not wrap hair around the bottom, which so far has been true. We will see if that stands up to the test of time, as I have very long thick hair that has tangled many vacuums before.
Easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum has been a great addition to July household. We have three boys under 6 and 4 dogs this vacuum can keep up on both our hardwood floors and the rugs. The vacuum is lightweight and fool proof enough that our 6 and 4 year old can carry the canister and clean up their messes. The head/base of vacuum is low profile enough that it fits seamlessly under our couches. What I love the most about it is that because all buttons and switches are on the upper part of the vacuum there’s no need to bend over and it makes switching from hardwood floors to rugs to carpet so easy. A feature they don’t have on the box that I use and was surprised it had is that if you have the base on and with the brush head going if it gets stuck on rig it’ll stop its spinning but continue suctioning. You simply switch it back on when the brush head is needed again. I’m recommending this to everyone who has kids, pets and stairs. The handheld canister makes it so easy to use that you can go from using the base to the extension wand and then with the ease of pushing a button take the whole canister and start your way up the stairs. The power cable is long enough that I made it all the way up our 15 steps while being plugged in at the bottom on the wall running along side the stairs. For those worried about noise level. It’s a bass hum. My 7 month old sleeps through us using it and if you don’t use the spinning head brush it’s even quieter! All in all your search for a lightweight, portable, very strong suctioned vacuum that’s easy to use. This is it.
Best Vacuum for active families
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum was exactly what our busy family needed! It is powerful on every surface, carpet, rugs, hardwoods, and tile! We have 2 kids and a dog constantly running in and out of the house and this vacuum lets me keep up with all the messes they track in and around the house. For an upright vacuum it is very lightweight and it transitions to the lift off mode super easily! I was able to clean everything in my home, floors, upholstery, stairs, curtains, couches, and chairs with the use of the added tools that are perfectly designed to fit onto the sides of the vacuum. I love how easily I can empty the dirt without messy bags. The container is clear so it makes it super easy to tell if I sucked up a toy my kids left behind by mistake. My favorite feature of this vacuum has to be how well it is able to get dog hair up around my house. My home has never been cleaner! This vacuum is a total win if you have kids and pets!
Great Vacuum and easy start up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I was amazed at just how easy this vacuum was to put together right out of the box. A quick glance at the photo and everything clicked right into place. It seems very easy to empty as well. I am used to a bag vacuum, so this one is quick and easy to pull of the closet and start cleaning. It seems to have good pickup on hardwood so far - I only have a few rugs and mostly hardwood floors. Good for quick pet hair pickups and so far great for jumping between hardwoods and rugs.
Great little vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is super great! Very light weight and easy to carry around which I appreciated. The hose attachments are awesome and worked amazing on my stairs that had not been cleaned in a while and are under heavy kid traffic. The vacuum also worked great on my area rug. Assembling it was surprisingly simple and straight forward. The design is also nice looking. The one thing that didn’t seem to work great was vacuuming the hard floor because it would just push the larger crumbs or pieces around but maybe it would work with a less messy floor. Also it is quite loud, but that didn’t bother me personally.
Love this vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My overall impression of this vacuum is that I wish I’d had it sooner! The look and design are sleek, the performance is superb, and the noise is manageable. The cleaning power was so evident right away. It blew my other cordless vacuum right out of the water. I had recently vacuumed with my old device, but this new one picked up so much more and that was both mortifying/satisfying. In my house, this vacuum helped me to tackle toddler food and pet messed with ease. I primarily focused on carpeted areas of my home (area rug and carpeted stairs and bedrooms). I absolutely LOVED using the mini attachment on my stairs. Up until this point, I never felt like they were getting a deep cleaning so this left me giddy. Of course the absolute only downside here was the cord and maybe also the fact that sometimes it felt like it would tip over, but I’ll totally take those if it means more cleaning power and a lighter weight frame to lug around!!
Great vacuum for use all over your house
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with this vacuum. I was amazed by the cleaning power. My husband had vacuumed the house earlier in the day and I was blown away by how much this vacuum still got up afterward (I’ve included a picture of how much we got up in the canister). I tried it on hardwood, carpet, baseboards, and area rugs. It helped me tackle sand and dog hair with ease. It was nice to be able to toggle the suction power for different floor surfaces. It would be nice if this was an automatic feature. The look and design were fine. It isn’t super heavy and the canister is easy to empty. My favorite feature of this vacuum was the lift-off canister and hose so you can clean the stairs and move around the house freely without the bulk of the wheeled base. The turbo brush vacuum attachment stayed on the hose nicely when you tried to use it and did a great job on our carpet and dog bed to remove hair.
Better than high end cordless vacuums
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So overall, I really love this new CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum cleaner. I had gotten so used to the minor pros and major cons of cordless vacuums, that this was a surprisingly simple and sturdy cleaning experience with zero headaches. I have owned several “pet hair” vacuums, and this one seems to be as strong or stronger than the top of the line version from that one brand- you know the one- that I owned years ago. Recently, for the sake of convenience, I have been using one of that brand’s cordless vacuums. It has not been a great experience. The battery does not last! I literally have to vacuum downstairs and then recharge it overnight, and then vacuum upstairs the next day! That is no longer a problem with the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum. Going back to a corded vacuum means that I have maximum power available for as long as I need it. The CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum seems to be very well made. It assembled out of the box very quickly and easily. I have used it on tile and on carpet. It has two convenient switches for choosing between hard surfaces/short pile and long pile carpets, and another for off/no roller/roller- very nice for tile floors so that you actually vacuum up debris instead of scatrering all over. The only negative thing I can say about the CleanView® Max Lift-Off! vacuum is that I don’t find any use or afvantage of the “lift off” feature. I found this out while vacuuming my carpeted stairs. Releasing the canister from the base doesn’t shed that much weight. And then, instead of using the large rollers on the base, you have to use the smaller roller attachment on the hose. This made the stairs job much more labor intensive because you can’t cover as much area, plus you have to hold the canister in your other hand. I gave up halfway up the stairs and reattached the base. Much quicker nothing to hold/carry. The only use case I can see for the “lift off” feature is if you are vacuuming out your car maybe. Overall, this is a great vacuum though, and it did a great job catching all the cat hair, dirt, and stray litter granules in our multiple pet house.
Nice Vacuum
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a decent vacuum that is at a reasonable price point. Our favorite futures were the cleaning tools and it’s ability to pivot to clean under furniture. The brush attachment worked well to clean the carpet in our van. it is easy enough to put inside the van and also haul up stairs. I found it is a bit cumbersome to maneuver on medium pile carpet, but it was easier on hard wood, tile, area rugs, and low pile carpet. There is a setting for low pile vs plush carpet. The power seemed superior to my cordless vacuum. In the kitchen, it quickly sucked up cheerios and tiny bits that my cordless vac tends to just push around. Overall, this does the job, but I did not try it on high pile carpet.
