[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with this vacuum. I was amazed by the cleaning power. My husband had vacuumed the house earlier in the day and I was blown away by how much this vacuum still got up afterward (I’ve included a picture of how much we got up in the canister). I tried it on hardwood, carpet, baseboards, and area rugs. It helped me tackle sand and dog hair with ease. It was nice to be able to toggle the suction power for different floor surfaces. It would be nice if this was an automatic feature. The look and design were fine. It isn’t super heavy and the canister is easy to empty. My favorite feature of this vacuum was the lift-off canister and hose so you can clean the stairs and move around the house freely without the bulk of the wheeled base. The turbo brush vacuum attachment stayed on the hose nicely when you tried to use it and did a great job on our carpet and dog bed to remove hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissell CleanView Max is my single piece of cleaning equipment that covers a lot of ground! It is impressively powerful... perhaps a bit too powerful. Assembly was simple taking only minutes after removing the pieces from the box. I appreciated the sleek look and relatively light weight which made it easy to handle. I used the vacuum on several floor surfaces as well as above floor surfaces. Low-shag and plush carpet both vacuumed beautifully with powerful suction. Suction can be switched from hard-floor to carpet in addition to varying carpet lengths and thicknesses by controlling the strength of the suction. I also vacuumed my tile and vinyl flooring with ease. The swivel foot allows for smooth maneuvering under furniture. In addition to floors, I also used the the hose and TurboBrush to clean my sofa cushions. The quick-release wand was easy to pop in and out. I also used the edging tool with the brush to clean window sills, vents and cabinet doors. I was amazed to see how much dirt was picked up and then simply released the dirt tank and emptied it. My least favorite area to vacuum is stairs. First, I tried the TurboBrush because it was so easy and effective on my furniture. It was amazingly light, powerful and easy to manage. I was impressed! Then my only problem occurred as I tried the regular full vacuum on the steps to compare. The swivel foot was challenging to maneuver and I ran over the cord. Due to the powerful suction, the cord was sucked up and stripped! Of course I didn't intend to run over the cord, but the cord should be strong enough to handle being run over on occasion. The vacuum functioned on a solid 5-star level, but the cord was an unfortunate disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a cordless stick vacuum girl for a long time. I hate dealing with the cord on the upright vacuums. I thought my little cordless vacuum was doing a great job until… enter the CleanView® Max Lift-Off. The vacuum set up was super easy and intuitive. The buttons are clearly marked so it was easy to figure out without having to read the instructions. Its moderately heavy to pick up and move around which could pose a problem for some. I gave it a test run in our upstairs which is entirely carpeted. I was surprised at how powerful the suction was. It left nice clean lines in my carpet which was very satisfying. It is quieter than I expected for how big it is but a little tough to push around. I got a good workout vacuuming the whole upstairs. It was definitely harder to maneuver when the brush roll is running (which is all the time on carpet). But when you switch the brush roll off, it becomes safe for my hardwood floors. Once I finished vacuuming our upstairs areas, I took a look at the clear dirt tank and I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was completely FULL! Ya’ll, I vacuum pretty frequently so I was astounded that the Bissell was able to pull that much dirt from my carpets. I was simultaneously disgusted and delighted at the same time. I have 3 very active kids, 2 of them with long hair. There was hair wound up around the filter inside the dirt tank but surprisingly not much around the spin brush, which was good. I wasn't sure I would find value in the Lift-Away feature. However, when I separated the body from the wand and cleaner head, I was impressed. It became much lighter and I could reach under furniture and tackle the stairs with ease. I used the attachments to clean the crevices and my stairs have never looked so clean. My only complaint was that it whistled when I used the TurboBrush attachment- likely from the amount of suction going through the small brush head. I guess there won’t be any vacuuming after the kids go to bed. I tested it on our hardwood floors as well and appreciated that it picked up all the dirt on the first pass. It even did a great job with dirt against the wall and grabbed everything without me needing to break out the hand tools. Emptying the dustbin was super straight forward, allowing the dirt to exit with the press of a button. I also appreciate all the filters so I wasn’t having to breathe in tiny dirt particles while I cleaned. Overall, I am super happy with the Clearview Max. It does a fantastic job of sucking out that deep ground-in dirt from our carpets. I wish the cord was longer so I could vacuum more area without being tethered to the wall but I’ll deal with that knowing what a thorough cleaning I’ll get thanks to the fantastic suction!

The appeal of having something that's dual use between corded standard vacuum and portable for the stairs is what was most useful. However, my unit did not work out of the box. None of the troubleshooting helped. The roller for main component wouldn't spin. It's a pass for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you have kids and pets, your floor is never clean no matter how hard you try. Well, this vacuum lets you put up a good fight! I personally have used an older version of this model for a few years, so my review is unique. I think that this vacuum kept all the best parts of the original, and have improved on all my complaints. I already love this vacuum. But it was a bit heavy and clunky. This CleanView Max Clean is lighter, more narrow, and handles more smoothly. The suction has declined a bit in my old model, but it wasn’t the greatest aspect of it to begin with. This new model has a noticeably stronger suction, and works so well! Dog hair and crumbs and dirt and turf don’t stand a chance. Both the push and handle options I can fell the suction power increase. And my favorite feature of this vacuum, the Lift Off! Is still working perfectly. It is amazing for cleaning the stairs, so you can ditch the heavy wheels and carry it along with you step by step! It can rest safely on each step without rolling away. My 6 year old is a pro at stairs cleaning, and she likes the new model better. It’s also light to hold and use the wand to clean ceilings and corners. Favorite vacuum I’ve owned - and I’ve tried a lot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the several weeks I've used the CleanView® Max Lift-Off, I've really come to appreciate it. I have carpet, tile, hardwood, and rugs all on my main floor, so it is wonderful to be able to adjust the suction with just my thumb while vacuuming! I love that I can just switch off the beater bar to use the hose. In contrast with my previous vacuum, this one has the hose permanently attached so that I can't forget to grab it or misplace it (or find it being used by my children as an imaginary elephant trunk). The crevice tool attachment is brilliant- I can slide the brush cover down with one hand while vacuuming to get both the top of the baseboards with the brush and then the carpet line without the brush before I have to move the vacuum. The lift off feature is good for stairs and upholstery. Perhaps it's just because it's a new, clean vacuum, but the suction seems super strong and effective! The attached picture of the dust canister was after vacuuming just two kid bedrooms that had even been vacuumed that week with our old vacuum! The only concern I have had is that when the anti- wrap technology works fairly well to keep the beater bar free of hair, we still find that the bar needs cleared periodically. Unfortunately the hand- held roller bar catches hair pretty easily. Overall, it seems like a great vacuum with nice accessories for a reasonable price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bissel CleanView Max LiftOff is a really nicely designed vacuum and it performs well. I use it on hardwood floors and carpet mostly and it does well on both surfaces, if I had ALL hard floors there may be other options I would consider, but for a home with multiple surface types this is a great choice. You can turn the brush on/off and change the setting for higher loft carpet or thin carpets/hard surfaces, so you really can set it to best suit your needs. It’s not a super light weight vacuum, so if you need something specifically for lightness this wouldn’t be my choice, but it’s also not overly heavy. I found it pretty easy to push, even on carpet, and the extra capabilities of the lift off feature and the hose/wand make it understandable that it’s not an ultra light appliance (it also picked up more stuff than my lightweight cordless vacuum, so there’s definitely a difference in performance)! I love the lift off feature to carry the vacuum around to different things if you aren’t cleaning just floors, great for when I vacuum furniture or stairs, and I can do the “lift off” with one hand and foot while standing at the vacuum, very used friendly. The hose easily disconnects to use it like a typical vacuum hose, or there is a quick release for the “wand” which is very handy also! I love that there is a place on the vacuum itself to store the hose attachments, they aren’t just tossed into the bottom of the closet to search for later. Emptying the canister and getting to the filters to clean them is also easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum worked really well on the carpet and hardwoods of our home. We don’t have dogs or cats, but rather pet birds. Their feathers and down float in the air to every room of the house, so having a vacuum that can handle it is important. It is not too heavy and is easy to maneuver. I like how easy to empty the waste cup is to empty! My only critique is that the power cord seems a little short, so you may have to shift where it’s plugged as you clean more often than expected. Overall I would recommend this model!

One of the best features I love about this vacuum is how you can easily click the Lift off button and you can pack the vacuum around for easier cleaning around stairs, vacuuming curtains off so forth. This vacuum has great suction and picks up even pet hair with ease. This vacuum is not a heavy vacuum and easily goes across floors with ease. I also love how easy it is to throw away the dirt and hair and clean when you are done. I would highly recommend this vacuum to everyone looking for a amazing powerful vacuum.
