The 42g of protein is definitely a plus, and it’s convenient when you need something quick and filling. The vitamin and mineral content is a nice bonus too. As for the taste, it’s okay. Not the best chocolate flavor I’ve had, but not terrible either… kind of somewhere in the middle. The texture is smooth, though it can feel a little thick if you’re not used to protein shakes. It’s also great that it’s low in sugar, but you can definitely tell it’s more functional than indulgent. I’m not a huge protein shake drinker but prefer the powder kind that I can dilute the flavor with my own added ingredients. All in all, it gets the job done, but it’s not something I’d crave every day. Good for a boost of protein when needed, but not a go-to for flavor. There is a flavor guarantee but I didn’t dislike enough that I’d try to get my money back for it.

I really like the texture, it doesn’t leave a chalky taste like others, also the thickness of the protein shake is a lot like a milk shake. I also like to put it in my iced coffee as a substitute for creamer. Tastes great.

Not too sweet, I try not to eat too much sweets (especially when holiday treats are everywhere) There's a slight after taste but for that protein- it’s faint compared to other brands. This chocolate will probably be my go-to flavor. I do want to try the other flavors too! Definitely kept me full.

I am very pleasantly surprised with the flavor and texture of this Ensure Max protein shake. I love how high the protein is and how low the carbs and fat are. I would not have considered Ensure prior to trying this but I will now. I prioritize protein for the health and fitness benefits and love that I have another option now.
