I was able to clean my well-worn stair runner and my couch so easily, and well as quickly get to any pet messes. The machine was easy to set up. Simple understand how to fill, empty, and use the cleaning nozzle. The Little Green Max Pet brighten my well-worn stair runner and cleaned food stains from the arm of my couch, but did leave an outline of dog vomit on my rug after a thorough cleaning. I have owned several iterations of this machine- and this is by far the best. It is small but really has great suction. The sprayer head and the waste tank are easy to remove and clean. I cannot stress enough how important it is to be able to easily clean out the parts of this machine. It has a very long hose and power cord, making it very easy to maneuver and position. I have several kids and pets- and always have need to clean my car, carpet, and upholstery. This machine truly does it all. I am always amazed at the grime it removes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this portable carpet cleaner to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I decided to try this product in a very difficult situation to truly test it's effectiveness: in my car. As a mom, my car is a mess and impossible to keep clean. Plus it is time consuming and expensive to get it professionally cleaned. So I decided to try out the Little Max Pet in there. It cleaned AMAZINGLY! It is small enough to fit in the backseat as I cleaned the carpets where the kids drop everything. And the suction did its job. It took two passes to get the carpet fully clean, but they were very soiled, so it is not surprising that one pass wasn't enough. The carpets are so clean now, I'm not sure I want to let the kids back in my car! The Little Max Pet was so easy to fill and use, I would definitely recommend it for tough to reach messes. It didn't soak the carpet like I feared it would and sucked up more than I could imagine being possible without a professional cleaning. The best part of the cleaner is that the instructions are clear and easy to understand, my 10 year-old asked if she could try it and used it with no problem. She actually had fun cleaning my front seat and asked what she could clean next! She did three passes on my driver's side floor where it was black with grime and was so happy how clean it came out. I was too! It's a 16 year old car with 200,000 miles on it so it's never going to be like new but it was a huge improvement. I highly recommend this cleaner for any busy mom that needs an efficient and mighty cleaner you can rely on to handle big mess.

I have two cats and two young kids so I was the perfect tester. I used the carpet cleaner on my wool blend rug in our bedroom, where our cats spend much of their time, and on our living room couch. With two messy kids, we had stains all over the couch- from food spills to markers, but it's too soon to spend thousands on a new couch when kids are still young- we're not out of the danger zone! Cleaning the rug, I filled the dirty water compartment with dark water several times, and the rug was soft and brighter when I finished. I was shocked to see how much dirt and cat hair was left behind from vacuuming alone. Cleaning the couch was also worthwhile. It didn't remove all the stains, but overall it looked much less spotted, and I don't feel like I need a couch cover any more. I loved the convenience of the small cleaner, however my biggest complaint was actually in the size and stability of the cleaner. I used up the water and filled the dirty water bin pretty quickly. Also, because it was small and light, the extension attachment didn't quite reach the length of the couch, and as I was cleaning, I flipped the whole cleaner... twice! The dirty water spilled all over the floor. The spills were pretty frustrating, but I was happy I pushed through when it was all done, because it cleaned both surfaces very well.

It's super light weight, compared to others on the market, but has the suction and cleaning power of a large upright carpet cleaner. It's incredibly quiet, as in, you can run it and still have a conversation with someone in the same room, which is not typical for a carpet cleaner, especially one with this much suction. I love that the water tank gives you two different options, one fill line for small jobs, and a different fill line for larger jobs. So you're not wasting cleaner if you only have a small spot to clean. It was amazing (and a little disgusting) to see how much dirt this could get out of an area of carpet that seemed clean to the naked eye. The set up was easy and self explanatory, although I do wish that the instructions provided more details into when to use each of the brush heads. I wasn't sure what the rubber brush head was meant for vs. the bristle brush head. The only downside to this machine is that it is a bit of a workout on your arms when you are cleaning a larger area with it. The back and forth action vs. other comparable products that you set and forget is a bit tiring. But if you only need to do a quick clean up on a little area, this is the machine for you! It's great for furniture, stairs, and small areas of your carpet. Also worth noting, is that it took a few tries to figure out the power cord went around the holders while the hose should be wrapped around the bottom. But once you figure it out, it's easy to clean up and put away. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this portable carpet cleaner.

The vacuum is great for spills or pet accidents. It has really helped with my new puppy.
