I personally haven't taken any stuffing out; it's perfect the way it is. I bought 2 pillows and gave one to my friend who recently had neck surgery. She was thrilled with the pillow! She said it was the only pillow that allowed her to sleep on her side.

No more neckaches when I wake up from too thick, too flat, or too firm a pillow. I also put some foam pieces in a peanut shaped pillow case for just the right amount of neck support when I sleep on my back. It's like 2 pillows in 1. I would highly recommend this pillow to anyone and everyone!
