I took the citrus flavored rapid-melts as indicated on the package and my cold was gone in just about a week. Normally my colds last a couple weeks. So I was excited that Zicam came through for me! The flavor of the product isn't bad and they do dissolve quickly.

I had already had the first day of cold syptoms when I received them so I immediately started taking them. Now I already feel a whole lot better and its only been 2 1/2 days!! Let me just say that my husband got sick and was sick for 14 days, and I got the same cold; however with zicam rapid melts I was sick for half the time. Only 7 days, because I took it the first day I felt sick, as directed, and it helped so much in the long run. A definite repurchase for winter.

I didn't see immediate results but did notice that my symptoms weren't getting worse like they usually do. As I kept taking the Rapid Melts, my symptoms not only seemed to improve but me cold also never fully took on and was over within a week!! These will definitely be a staple during the winter months in my household!

I only had a few small symptoms for about a week and was back to normal while the rest of my house is still hacking up phlegm from their head colds dropping into their lungs. Sorry guys :/

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband started to complain about not feeling well. I gave him the rapid melts and within a few days he was better. Normally he would be down and out for a few days but this time he was better in just 3 days.

My family is convinced this product works to shorten length of colds if taken at first symptom! It is not for relieving symptoms, which some reviewers seem to think. Start using at first sign you are getting cold! However, my complaint is how sickeningly sweet they are! Almost makes me vomit it is so strongly flavored and extremely sweet. I always dread taking it, ut I do anyway as I know from experience it works. Can only assume it would taste even worse if not so strongly flavored? Otherwise, why flavor it to such an extreme? Wish they would make a version that is less sweet and more mildly flavored!
