[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Zicam Cold Remedy Rapid Melts and I have found they really do seem to shorten the duration of my colds. I try to take it at the onset of symptom and I add extra Vitamin C between the Zicam. There are other brands now that are less expensive but I haven't found one that works as well as Zicam. The taste is not pleasant but better than most other cold remedies.

They usually shorten my cold enough that I'm not knocked out by it and can get back to being a full-time mommy faster! The RapidMelts taste good and dissolve nicely, they aren't too gritty. Too many will give me a stomach ache so I always make sure to take them with a meal and generally don't take as many as recommended on the box each day. I take them for the first 2-3 days of a cold and feel so much better! Symptoms are usually gone by day 4 or 5, as opposed to 7-10 days normally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the taste answer ease of using the Zicam rapid melts in citrus flavor. I am noticing that my cold is not getting worse. I still have it but as of right now it's not easing up. I like the fact I can take these with me and I don't need anything to drink to take one. The citrusy orange flavor is really good and it doesn't have a nasty aftertaste. I will keep taking this in hopes my cold will get a bit better but glad it's not getting worse. I would definitely try this again maybe in the other flavor.

It's important to take a tablet as soon as symptoms appear and take another tablet every 3 hours until symptoms are gone. While this product worked great, I didn't really like the citrus flavor taste. Even though I'm not crazy about the citrus flavor, I will purchase Zicam Rapidmelts again since they work so well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Taste is actually very good, but having that chalky feeling on my tongue is definitely not my favorite, but it only lasts about 2 minutes after you take it! I feel it did help my cold seem to go by faster!

My family is convinced this product works to shorten length of colds if taken at first symptom! It is not for relieving symptoms, which some reviewers seem to think. Start using at first sign you are getting cold! However, my complaint is how sickeningly sweet they are! Almost makes me vomit it is so strongly flavored and extremely sweet. I always dread taking it, ut I do anyway as I know from experience it works. Can only assume it would taste even worse if not so strongly flavored? Otherwise, why flavor it to such an extreme? Wish they would make a version that is less sweet and more mildly flavored!

They’re easy to take, dissolve quickly in the mouth, and have a light citrus flavor that isn’t too strong or medicinal. I noticed that when I took them at the first signs of a cold, my symptoms didn’t get as bad, and I felt a bit more relief throughout the day. They didn’t upset my stomach, which is a big plus compared to other cold remedies. Overall, they’re a convenient and effective option if you want something quick to help reduce cold symptoms early on. I would definitely keep them on hand for cold season.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to be chosen to sample Zicam Cold Remedy RapidMelts "homeopathic" tablets. The zinc works very well in shortening the length and severity of a cold, but it tastes like zinc even with the natural and artificial flavors. I would have given a higher rating to this product but I take exception to the inactive ingredients of FD&C yellow #6 aluminum lake and artificial flavor being labeled as homeopathic. There were several ingredients that I did not expect to see in a product being touted as homeopathic. In the future I will just be buying zinc tablets as I don't like to use artificial additives in my supplements or food intake.
