After receiving my sample I did experience the onset of a cold within days of its arrival. I used a tablet the first night before bed, It dissolved quickly and did not have a bad taste, nor did it leave a "chalky" feeling in my mouth. Over the course of four days I used these tablets every 4 hours, along with my cold medicine. My cough never fully developed, which was good, and I only missed 1 day of work due to my cold symptoms. Overall I would strongly recommend this product and I plan on repurchasing these to have in the house in case of another bout of illness. .

It really made me feel better when I felt a cold coming on. The symptoms stayed at bay and I was able to function normally. I will definitely use this again when I feel like I'm coming down with another cold.

They also say not to drink anything for fifteen minutes after which I felt was hard to do because it left my mouth feeling really dry and with a bad after taste. I do think it helped with my cold so it still gets four stars in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these. We always get a lot of colds in this. with my daughter & grandkids living here, there is always something going around. I will always use these when ever I can. at the first sign of a cold I need to keep it as short as possible!

After my dental exam two weeks ago, I was told my gums were very healthy looking, and darned near perfect. Well, after one rapid melt taken, my gums are red and irritated and bleeding. I stopped taking the rapid melts after just one as gums looked red. Would not have been caused by food either, as all I ate was home made chicken noodle soup and Irish Oatmeal. My cold was not helped either, but had the gum irritation not occur, would have tried more.

I hate colds! They are the worst! I've been using Zicam RapidMelts for a few years when I get a cold and the difference is night and day. My symptoms never fully develop like in the past and my cold is gone in a few days. Yay! I rarely write reviews, but this one is worth it.
