They also say not to drink anything for fifteen minutes after which I felt was hard to do because it left my mouth feeling really dry and with a bad after taste. I do think it helped with my cold so it still gets four stars in my book.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact that on the first signs of a cold I would take Zicam Rapidmelts and it would help shorten the length of my cold. They are simple to take, melt easy in the mouth, and the taste is not bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every fall/winter our household started to feel a bit sicky, so this year we reached for the Zicam Cold Remedy RapidMelts. They taste pretty chalky and alter the way things taste in your mouth for a few hours after you take them, but they really do work to shorten the life of your sickness. I'm not a fan of taking them when I have a dry throat, but they work wonders when I have a wheezy cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Zicam Cold Remedy really did seem to help shorten the duration of my cold when I took it at the first sign of cold, which for me is usually a sore/scratchy throat. Colds usually last 5 or so days but I felt better in 3-4! I used Zicam Cold Remedy that whole time, as directed! It didn't work instantly (that'd be nice!) but did seem to help. I also like that it has a pretty benign list of inactive ingredients. I didn't like the citrus flavor but would like to try others, since I don't typically like orange flavor. Overall great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Zicam Cold Remedy Rapid Melts and I have found they really do seem to shorten the duration of my colds. I try to take it at the onset of symptom and I add extra Vitamin C between the Zicam. There are other brands now that are less expensive but I haven't found one that works as well as Zicam. The taste is not pleasant but better than most other cold remedies.

I woke up and had a sruffy nose and scratchy throat so I took 1 Rapidmelts and took another 1 three hours later as directed and so on the next day I was not all the way well but I didn't feel any worse so I kept taking the rapidmelts as directed and I never got any worse I felt great. I will definitely buy these in the future and tell all my friends and family about them. Colds can really drag you down and with the Zicam Rapidmelts I was able to do my regular routine and that was amazing. Thank you so much for this amazing product.

It seems to have worked as she didn't get any worse and is feeling great, and driving me crazy, but she wasn't crazy about the taste at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With it being cold season I was very glad to be a part of the Zicam Cold Remedy Rapidmelts mission. I love the concept of dissolving tablets, however I am not very fond of the aftertaste. Usually leaves my tongue dry, but the flavor of the tablet itself is good. By taking the RapidMelt at the onset of any cold symptom I felt confident that if I was going to be sick it wouldn't last a long time.

I've used this at least 5-10 times for colds. Sometimes it works better than others. I think that might have to do with various "bugs" I've caught. Just like they can't hit it all the time with the flu vaccines. I can't say for sure HOW much shorter my colds are because of this product, but I'd guess at least by a day and a little less severe. The only bugger about it is remembering to take it and be diligent. Even if the product tastes ok, it's going to leave somewhat of an aftertaste for awhile.

I took one rapidmelt, which tasted absolutely terrible. By the end of the day, I had completely lost my sense of smell...now everything smells the same. like fresh clean air. Cut onions: no scent. Chocolate: no scent Dirty diaper: no scent. So i guess there's one positive. as smell and taste go hand in hand, I cannot taste any of the food I eat. This is disturbing. I do not recommend Zicam at all.
