[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the orange flavor is much better than cherry, however it takes too long to melt for me. I prefer to take something and be done. The flavor has gotten better since I last tried 10 years ago so that is nice. I will definitely use them if I get sick.

I started taking the Zicam Cold Remedy when I noticed my cold systems. I found that the Zicam Cold Remedy had shortened my cold. I will be adding these to my medicine chest for myself and my family.

Let me just say that my husband got sick and was sick for 14 days, and I got the same cold; however with zicam rapid melts I was sick for half the time. Only 7 days, because I took it the first day I felt sick, as directed, and it helped so much in the long run. A definite repurchase for winter.

I took it while i was sick recently; as soon as I noticed the symptoms I did notice that I was over the cold slightly quicker than I usually am and that my symptoms didn't get as bad as usual. However I hate the rapid melt & the taste of it. It has a horrible aftertaste that lingers for hours. I would be alot more likely to use this product if it was in pill form or it at least wasn't in the rapid melt form. It seems to help but I dreaded taking it everyday simply b/c of the taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the taste answer ease of using the Zicam rapid melts in citrus flavor. I am noticing that my cold is not getting worse. I still have it but as of right now it's not easing up. I like the fact I can take these with me and I don't need anything to drink to take one. The citrusy orange flavor is really good and it doesn't have a nasty aftertaste. I will keep taking this in hopes my cold will get a bit better but glad it's not getting worse. I would definitely try this again maybe in the other flavor.

I was skeptical but could NOT get sick because a family member was immuno-compromised, so I tried it every time I felt a cold coming on and it works! You've got to take it at the first sign of a cold if you want to really nip it in the bud but it is very effective. It also doesn't taste bad at all. I had tried zinc products in the past but was put off by the taste. This stuff is very tolerable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had noticed i started getting sick (sore throat and cough are beginning signs) so i immediately started taking the Zicam. As directed, every 3 hours, following all steps... well, 3 days into, completely ill (voice gone, constant sore throat, horrible cough, etc) i actually stopped the Zicam and had to go to the doctor for a couple prescriptions (very bad sinus infection). Now, i did as directed, took the Zicam at the very first sign. Not a bad taste, dissolved quickly, nice concept. I gave 3 stars because, ultimately i progressed worse and Zicam did nothing it seems. Now, my sinus infection COULD have been a cold, or brought on by something else, who knows, which progressed badly. So im not saying the product doesnt work, it just may have not for whatever caused my illness. But i cannot give 5 stars, because i had got VERY bad, VERY quickly, and it didnt seem to help ANYTHING. I will/would still recommend it, just in case it works for someone else, but being on antibiotics myself, i doubt ill get sick anytime soon to give it another try. So, overall, i am not crazy about this product, but still may try a different type/product of Zicam itself.
