The printer prints vertical lines when using blue ink. Have to print everything on best setting to get an acceptable print. This happened on last printer also which is why I replaced it with this printer.

I needed a copier with a feed feature as I print many copies at once. I think I can double side copy although I haven't tried that yet. I was very disappointed that the FAX ability was impossible to hook up (that is one factor in me buying it). I only have one phone line with an answering machine. It wanted to go to FAX mode in 2 rings (don't quote me on that!). I called support several times and still could not resolve the problem. I have given up on faxing.

We have had zero issues with the printer itself, setup and operation is easy. However, DO NOT buy the ink that is listed in the description because it is not the correct size!

I love this all in one. I read the reviews before purchasing as always. I purchased this item and ordered ink at another store. I've had no trouble with it at all. I did not get the subscription for ink because it is used randomly for the most part and not knowing when I'd need ink again I just didn't subscribe. I've used card stock as well as regular paper and both have fed through perfectly. I've scanned many things to my computer with no problems. I've done two sided printing and love how I don't have to physically figure out which way to put the paper in and hit print again. I love that feature most! I bought this to use for work things but it does so great I've actually been printing a lot of transcripts for my personal use also. Yes the paper tray is plastic but in my experience most of them are. I've had no issues or problems opening and closing the tray. I do not feel like it will break. I can't say enough good about this printer. I don't use the fax option because I don't have a phone jack in my home office and you can scan and email most things now days. It looks like it would be easy enough to use if I needed it. I raved about it to my boss so he had me order him one. He got it set up without help (not a tech guy).

This is so great and super easy. Never have to think about the ink levels.

I purchase this printer to replace an older HP printer. After a couple of weeks all is good. Very easy to set up.

I bought this printer after much research and was really excited to find it on sale. The first one I bought I had to return because the scanner light would stay on all the time and would flash constantly. I came home with the second one and its doing the same thing. I would have never noticed but I walked into where the printer was in a dark room and could see the flashing. This is dangerous because if on consistently I would think it would get hot. I will be returning the second printer and now have to begin my research all over again to find a better printer.

My main concern is being able to get ink. This is my second review and one person says if a color cartridge is out you can’t print even in black and white. My experience with the 20.00 dollar prepaid ink is it’s looking impossible to get; because they sent me a message saying how many pages I had printed and showing me a picture of my printer showing how low my black in was but when I went to the instant ink account I had set up they say they can’t supply my ink because the printer isn’t connected. I have my printer hooked up via a USB cord, which Sam’s Club had to supply since the printer didn’t come with one as advertised, and my laptop is connected to WiFi; they can see my printer, obviously, they just aren’t making good on the ink. In the message they sent telling me how many pages I had printed and the level of my ink, said I should consider upgrading from the prepaid 20.00 dollar or 4.99 for 4 months, to the 11.99 plan. When I went to the HP website, it says ink isn’t available for my model because it has been discontinued! And I constantly see people complaining about instantink app, and the customer service is terrible and if you have an issue over the weekend forget it, because they aren’t open on weekends! And these people who are saying how quiet the printer is must be hard of hearing, because it can wake the dead. My whirlpool washer is quieter than this printer, and set up isn’t a snap because you have to go through a process to get the driver for the printer to work with you laptop or whatever you have! They aren’t being honest because it isn’t a snap, it’s a long set up process. You have to print a printer alignment page and put it face down on the scanner to let it go through that or you won’t get pages printed straight. It’s not a snap! And whoever said it prints good picture quality, I printed one from my laptop and it comes out blurry; now if you’re printing a colored card, it does ok, but it’s not all bright and shiny! Some of these reviews are not accurate! I used the double sided function and put two pages I had hand written on one side and placed them face up in the top feeder and selected two sided on the print screen and it done a great job at 600 dpi, note you can set it to 1200dpi, but 600 does good enough for me. If you’re doing a business document and want it darker, then you may want 1200dpi. Like I said, my main concern is getting ink, but some of the reviews are not accurate. Picture quality is blurry, it’s very loud unless you are hard of hearing or maybe outside while it is printing inside lol, and set up is a long process of setting everything up! You’ll have to download drivers and align your printer and go through the hook up whether by USB cord or WiFi! And the small screen on the printer does not make it easy to navigate through it all. Nothing about it is a snap except how fast they take your money. Sam’s Club is the only ones who I have had great customer service experience with! HP Instantink is terrible and they are more concerned with you upgrading to a 11.99 plan than making good on the prepaid plan you paid for when you bought the printer!

Have had this printer for just over 2 weeks. It has developed a high pitch squeal when printing. Has, at times, printed a partial page on a piece of paper and the rest of the page on another sheet of paper (misfeeds paper); on several occasions while scanning paper to computer via the top feed tray it has pulled multiple pages through at once and / or jams; it will not send fax with the directory feature, unless you delete the semicolon that the fax machine automatically adds behind a phone number when said number has been added to the directory; it doesn't hold much paper and the drawer is difficult to open and close; the paper drawer is also very flimsy; received call from a fax sender today that she could not get a fax to go through - we were suspicious of missing some faxes as the ringer would go off, and though the machine is set to auto answer the fax, nothing would come through from legitimate numbers that our office typically does business with. I have been very disappointed in this unit, and even moreso now that I logged on to list the review and see there is now a $50 rebate offer. The unit is not worth $50 to start with in my opinion.

This printer is junk. Returning today. Purchased a few days ago. Cheap and flimsy. Paper tray feels like is will break each time you touch it. Printer will not connect to my WiFi. Continues to say that password is incorrect but it is not. Bought to replace previous HP printer that I had for years but the printhead failed. Always had good luck with HP before but this printer is not a good product.
