I have a dishwasher so I mostly just use this for big pots and pans that don't fit and there really isn't a better brand dish soap than dawn. It powers right through the grease and makes washing pans so much easier. It is also great as a makeup brush cleaner, I mix it with a little almond oil so my brushes get disinfected and conditioned at the same time and it works fabulously!

I feel as if dawn is literally the only dish soap that cleans my dishes. I am a weirdo and wash my dishes before putting them in the dish washer to be washed in there too. I've tried gain, Palmolive, the method. None of suds up and works as good as dawn

You can't go wrong with Dawn!!! It's a hard working product and degreaser. I use this product to wash dishes, I use it as a degreaser/stain fighter in the laundry, I am a crafter, so it works will in craft cleanup, and I also use it in the summer as a body wash on those days that I got extremely sweaty and sweaty. Wonderful.priduct with tons of uses.

AMAZING. Totally satisfied, I've always have this soap at my house. I buy others so I can compare to this one, but no soap has come close to it. I just need a little bit on my soap cup and it will remove all the grease from my pans and plates. BEST DISH SOAP.

I have used Dawn platinum for a long time, a huge reason why was the refreshing clean scent…the new formula and scent change has made me switch product. I was lucky enough to find one bottle today of the old scent. Dawn you should certainly listen to the reviewers about the dislike in the new scent.

I can’t say enough how this soap is above all others I have tried,I love how well it works to clean my dishes with just a small amount and it’s reasonably priced I recommend trying it for more than just dishes as well I spot clean grease stains on clothes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to cook for my my mother in law. Not an easy task. She complained the whole time. Then dinner was over and it was time to do the dishes. She insisted on scrubbing the pans. She scrubbed and scrubbed! I giggled and remembered I had stopped at the store on the way! I went out to my car and handed her my dawn! I told her to use three drops and let it soak for about 5 min. When we returned, goodbye muck! She kept my dawn and told her son my husband what a smart wife he has!

New scent is awful. I have used Dawn for many years but this change in scent has made me plan to look for a different product. It also seems to be less effective as it was before. The scent lingers on hands and dishes, especially plastic items, and is very unpleasant.

If I could give it no stars I would. I have always used Dawn and saw that there was a new scent. I really dislike the cheap scents that are everywhere these days. I use unscented laundry detergent and fabric softener because I choose not to smell of cheap perfume all day. I saw the new scent and thought, "How bad could it be?" It's hideous! I gave away a large size bottle because all my cups and utensils smelled perfumy. I will try the unscented version, but I wish you would bring back the original scent. I suppose the focus group were fans of dollar store perfume.

I’ve always used Dawn products and they have been great. I love the Dawn Platinum Original Scent, but the new Rain Scent is horrible. It smells very bad and dries out my hands. I feel like it’s very thick compared to the original. I think it might be time to start looking for a new dish soap.
