The reason for my 2 star rating is because the "new and improved fresh scent" on Dawn Platinum is terrible. It's so bad, I can't stand to use it. It smells somewhat rancid, or at least that what the smell invokes for me. While I loved the cleaning performance of Dawn, I will no longer buy it unless they change the smell.

Dawn is LITERALLY the only thing that cuts through that tough grease. I hate when my plates especially the plastic ones have this nasty layer of grease no matter what I do. But not with dawn, I put some in the water or on my plates and things - let it sit for a minute and it slides right off. Definitely try it.

My husband is a mechanic so he uses this to get the grease and oil off with little scrubbing involved. Plus it’s amazing on stuck on food. The scent could be a little better but other than that we are going to buy weekly. Dawn Platinum Power Clean Refreshing Dishwashing Liquid Rain Scent

Dawn Ultra New Clean Scent smells absolutely awful! I've been using Ultra for YEARS, and have been very satisfied. I've read a lot of complaints from other customers who also find this scent overpoweringly terrible, and akin to a cheap perfume. WHY change it? And more to the point, why does it need a fragrance at all? If the product is effective, which it is, there is really no need to add some fake fragrance. There should never be any trace of a chemical fragrance left on clean dishes or hands after washing the dishes! Has this New Clean Scent completely replaced the Original? I certainly hope not!!! I'll have to find a different product!

I have been using Dawn Dishwashing liquid for forever I absolutely love it for cutting grease and getting my dishes squeeky clean and the scent is wonderful! It lathers up well and gets all my dishes super clean! I highly recommend this product to anyone! Dawn Ultra Platinum Dishwashing Liquid Refreshing Rain 346 Fl Oz

I am in love with this scent! It’s always a plus when you love the smell of your dish soap because you spend most of your time washing dishes right? Dawn is a great brand as it is. It foams well, kills grease and doesn’t run out as fast as other dish soap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn Platinum not only has helped in the messiest of messes, but worked better than other dish washing liquid. The suds last longer than other brands, and cleans the worst of baked on food and grease in a shorter time than others do, without re-washing the dishes time after time. I would definitely recommend this dish washing liquid to any and everyone. Also the pricing is equal in price as other brands that do not work as fast as this product does.

The Refreshing Rain Scent is so toxic that I’m afraid to use it around my daughter with asthma. It’s not just a smell, it’s a chemical reaction. I had to open up the windows & doors & air the house out when I used it to steam mop my floors. It’s like vinegar mixed with epoxy and formaldehyde. I’m heartbroken that Dawn changed the formula. I’ve used Dawn to clean everything for 20 years because I trusted it as a safe cleaner. Now I have to find 10 different products because I can’t use this one anywhere in my house any more. Don’t wash the tv commercial duck in this stuff!!!!!

I used to always buy the cheaper dishwashing soaps but it always felt like I would go through them so fast. When I bought the dawn I realized it would last twice as long as the ones I used to use and it left my dishes feeling and looking so much cleaner. It’s definitely my go to and is so worth the extra dollar!

Perfect for every day messes, everywhere. The scent is to die for!! Perfect for grease and hard to clean crud. I recommend up everyone. The smell and super concentration are my favorite attributes. Highly encourage you to try! Life is so much easier. Dawn
