[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I may be in the minority of people not quite in the 21st century with a dishwasher and so, I am forced to wash my dishes by hand every night. That is why I am so thankful for the Power Clean Dawn Platinum product! It literally has reduced the amount of time I have to spend at the sink every night and that is valuable time I get to spend with my family. Dishes go into the water and almost clean themselves! I have typically been a bargain brand detergent buyer but for the few extra pennies this product is worth that and a lot more. I rave about Dawn Platinum Power Clean to everyone I can and wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks Dawn, for making my life better simply by making quality products that can save some valuable time.

I use less detergent and get cleaner dishes with less effort. Oh, and it smells great too. Win .... win.... win.

I loved Dawn dish soap and have used it for years. I was very surprised when I recently refilled my soap dispenser that there was a different smell from the new bottle. The recent change to a “new clean scent” is not good—it makes me nauseous while I’m washing dishes. It smells like a over-fragranced floor cleaner, and is very off-putting when being used around food. I hope they bring back the original formula without this added scent, otherwise I won’t be buying again. It’s an effective soap, but I’d rather use a little more elbow grease with something that doesn’t make me queasy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used original Dawn for years. My sister gave me a bottle of Platinum Power Clean when we were doing Thanksgiving dishes. It was exactly what the label said, it was like having "the power of an overnight soak". We didn't have to soak the greasy turkey roaster and other pans. We were done with the dishes in a jiffy and were able to relax with the rest of the family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn Platinum Power Clean; refreshing rain sent is AMAZING! I have cerebral palsy & some nights dishes don't get done. I used to get frustrated soaking the pots and pans for half a hour or more. Now with Dawn Platinum Power Release soaking really is only 3 minutes. I've recommended it to my friends. I love this product; it's a great time saver. I use oother Dawn products for regular washing; the power release is my go to for the tough jobs!

I love Dawn, and have been using it for years. I do have a complaint. It smells like laundry detergent, and it's just strange. I know we live in a bigger, better, faster, more society, but there wasn't anything that needed to be improved with the scent. I won't buy this type anymore.

Dawn platinum is the BEST soap I have ever used. At my house we always buy the small 7 ounce bottle for one dollar, its so concentrated that it lasts a couple of months. With this soap you can wash a whole sink full of dishes with one or two drops. Also I have a soap dispenser that I put this soap in for my hands, my hands are always super clean and soft they never get dry or irratated from this soap just really squeaky clean.

The new Refreshing Rain scent is harsh and sends a spike right up my nose. It does not wash off hands and stays on dishes and sponges. No amount of extra scrubbing seems to remove it. The scent is extremely sharp and hurts the inside of my sinuses. I have smelt this exact aromachemical in some perfumes before and I cannot wear them due to the chemical smell. Why would Dawn use this in their dishwashing liquid? It triggers my allergies, asthma and induces migraines. Had to throw out a practically brand new bottle because of the shrill scent. I prefer the original scent of Dawn. The noxious smelling aromachemical is most likely Norlimbanol, Amberwood, Cetalox or Ambroxan. If you can't stand those notes used in perfume - stay away from Dawn's Refreshing Rain dishwashing liquid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I moved into our new home, it looked like the filters above the stove had never been clashed and there was major grease and dirt in the fan area. I soaked the filters in hot water with Dawn. The water was disgusting. I rinsed them and put them in the dishwasher. They came out looking like New! While they were washing I I got to work on the hood. It took some elbow grease, but after soaking in hot water, I was amazed at how clean they were with less work and time then I expected.

I hate this new scent so much. It’s unpleasant and overpowering, and the perfume takes longer to rinse off of dishes than the old formula. I don’t want the things I EAT AND DRINK OFF OF to taste like perfume. I will not buy Dawn anymore if they keep this new scent.
