I’m not sure why I buy “platinum” over the regular stuff, it’s dawn so it does the same thing however the smell and it feels better on my hands should I ever actually need to do dishes by hand. I think the shiny label got me but I’ve purchased this more than that first impulse so idk

We are P&G stockholders because we use so many of its products. Dawn has been our go-to liquid dish soap for years. The new scent boggles the mind. It is overwhelming and lingers long after use, scenting everything it touches with a nauseating odor. It's too much, and your R&D Department really screwed up. One reason we used the old Dawn was that it didn't stink up the house, unlike so many other brands. Ditch this poorly designed scent and get back to a normal odor.

The soap is OK - the packaging is terrible. First, i had a hard time getting it to spray. Secondly, I had to read the directions to learn how to take the cap off - not intuitive. Then, i finally got it back together and it started to spray, then the bottle fell off the top sparayer cap and spilled liquid all over the floor. Also, it's hard to work the spray trigger. I've used spray bottles for 50 years with good results. Dawn redesigned the spray bottle and got it all screwed up. (If it's not broken, don't try to fix it!)

If you have children or even grown up stains like spilled coffee it WORKS!!! So easy to use and a little goes a long way. I LOVE DAWN PLATINUM POWER!!!

I've been buying dawn for many many years. The only dish soap I've been willing to purchase. That is until a couple of months ago. No more..NOT EVER will I buy dawn again if it stays as it is now. The smell of this new scent is horrific. It doesn't rinse off the dishes or dish cloth. Why why why did you mess with a GOOD thing? Very disappointing! I wish I could give zero stars. 1 star being "product is poor" doesn't ever come close to how bad this smell is.

I have no idea what your product developers or business development folks were thinking when they discontinued the Platinum line in Original Scent. Whatever they were thinking, it has resulted in a bad decision. I have used Dawn products for too many years to count. I never looked at other products. And I have enjoyed the Original Scent in the higher power product lines (Oxy, Platinum) greatly. I am ready to throw away a large bottle of the disgusting "refreshing" rain. It smells like really bad, really cheap hairspray. I am actually considering sniffing other products when I am next in the grocery. I have purchased Original Scent in the Ultra but it too honestly doesn't smell the same as OS in the Platinum line. Plus I miss the extra cleaning power in Platinum. Please be like Coca-Cola and go back to the original.

Unbelieveable cleaning ability, I use it for all my dishes, to take stains out of laundry and for baked on or stained dishes I haven't found anything that it won't work on, if you have a tough stain add a little and let it soak for a short amount of time and it will work on anything! It is very affordable and so worth every penny! It only takes a very little amount to do amazing things. I love every Dawn product I have tried but Platinum is the one I buy most often

Probably the best dish soap out there. It always removes every bit of oil on my dishes and kids bottles. The scent is perfectly fresh and not too strong. Doesn’t make my hands dry after it or irritate them. A little bit goes a long way so this will last you months.

This soap is really great! With very little effort my dishes come clean. Gets rid of the greasy residue that can stay behind with other brands of dish soap. This soap is slightly more expensive than some other brand of dish soap but it's well worth it.

Not only does dawn do wonders to my dishes it also does great charitable work. Like donate it’s soap to help clean animals that have been affected by oil spills. It’s the only dish soap that I by. It just does what it’s supposed to and is the only one that really takes the grease off
