[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn is an excellent product you can always count on. It only takes a few drops to clean up the dishes or stains on clothes or oil from animals stuck In a spill zone. Platinum is the strongest yet and my personal favorite.

Not only do I use this at home, but I also use it at the Humane Society I work at. It’s great for anything from dishes to cats. The smell isn’t super pungent, so while it does make whatever you’re washing smell better, that smell is not overwhelming. We use this on kittens and puppies and it’s sensitive enough to not irritate their skin, eyes, or ears.

If I could give the new scent negative stars, I would. If you have scent sensitivity, it’s best to find a new brand. The new scent will make you gag. It will also leave a nasty taste if you wash anything that is potentially porous. This includes reusable straws, reusable containers or anything not glass/ceramic/steel. Buckle up for nasty tasting everything! Original scent is supposed to be original, not “new original.” Like did some remedial person decide that the word original means something new? You can definitely add new scents, but don’t try to replace something tried and true with something new and gross. When I was dishes, I’d like my dishes to smell like soap, not some old lady’s perfume.

I’ve been using Dawn since God was a boy but not anymore. The new scent is so disgusting that it burns my eyes and makes me nauseous. And the smell lingers in all of my dishes so I also get to taste this putrid smell. I will never buy Dawn again so long as that is the scent.

This is my everday dish soap. I love it and will not change brands. I have tried alot of other but nothing suds up and cleans as good. It does really good on glass and also pots and pans. It cleans really good and has a great smell. I recommend you give it a try. You will be glad you did.

I stopped buying this to save money, but I found that with other detergents, I was using so much more product that I did with this brand. So I went back to using Dawn. I really like it and if I need to let something soak, this really helps cut grease faster.

The new scent of Dawn STINKS! I suspect this new scent is cheaper for you. It smells so bad, I am switching brands. It smells like teenage boy BO covered over with cheap drugstore cologne. Ugh!!! Remember when Coke made New Coke? EVERYONE hated it and that brainy idea blew up in their faces and they had to bring back original Coke??? I predict the same outcome for this new scent. It is awful and everyone agrees with me.

Used Dawn for over 30 years. it just doesn't do the job anymore. I'm extremely disappointed. You've changed and you're not the Dawn I once knew ! And NO I don't have hard water or whatever excuses are replied with. I've been newly introduced to brand and store brand dish soap that does a much better job. I'm still happy with my Tide used over 30 years, my Corolla that is 26 years old, my Mac powerbook that is 10 years old; because, I choose quality. Unfortunately, Dawn will no longer be on that list !

This is basically the only dish soap that I will use. It works really well on everything I’ve ever used it on. Doesn’t leave a residue behind on my dishes. I love like this one particularly because it doesn’t have a super strong scent. Definitely recommend.

In a time when American consumers are becoming more conscious of the harmful chemicals present in their daily products and are moving away from those things, here comes Dawn with a brand new chemical-smelling perfume additive. What a poor choice for this company. The odor irritates my asthma and made my face itchy when I touched it after having used this soap to wash the dishes, so if this is what I can expect from a product that's been a staple to generations, I won't be using it anymore.
