Our family has a BBQ Food trailer and I do loads of greasy dishes from our pork, brisket, ribs and all our sides. Dawn was a go to for all of ur greasy dishes and made the job easier until you switched formulations this year. You changed the product line up to this Platnium and watered it down. Now I have to squirter it directly on each dish or there will be a greasy film on each dish. There was a heavy duty product that we used last summer and now it is gone, I am sure you had to take the detergent cleansers out for environmentalists or you watered it down and made the containers smaller to increase shareholder profit just like all the other companies gouging consumers but I am so disappointed and frustrated with this product!!!!!

Have loyally purchased Dawn for decades but will now be shopping for a new dishwashing soap. The new “and improved” fresh scent is immediately headache inducing and turns my stomach. It smells like overpowering, heavily scented laundry detergent - not something I’ll just get used to. What a disappointment.

I've been using Dawn Dishwashing soap for years. It has been my product of choice because it gets the grease off. I recently opened a new bottle and was assaulted by a cheap, overwhelming smell. The smell makes it hard to breath. It is awful. Is the product still available without the cloying reek?

My husband and I bought the Dawn Ultra Platinum because it was the same price as the regular Dawn Dish Soap. We were pleasantly surprised. It worked better than the normal dawn that we get and have already bought it again. It works well on getting stains out instantly!

I have tried so many beans over the years and I always go back to dawn. I end up using less soap and getting more done. It really is a high quality soap that works. It gets grease off super easy and makes my job doing dishes fast! It’s generally not very expensive and works better than the rest.

Just bought this and the scent is ghastly. On top of that I can no longer find Dawn Ultra which was a superior product to Dawn. I will have to seek out a new detergent. I have been using Dawn for decades. Your decision recalls the bad decision by Coke-Cola to change the taste back in 1985. Something seriously flawed with your test panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes when I'm beat from the stress of the day, and I've cooked dinner for my family, all I want to do is sit and relax for a minute. Before I know it, a minute turns into an hour or more, and then I realize the next morning that there's a sink full of dishes to be washed. All I have to do at that point is turn to my trusted Dawn Power Soak. I squirt a little bit in, run the water over the dishes and then leave out to pick out my outfit for the day. After a minimum of 3-4 minutes, my dishes are able to be cleaned as if they had soaked all night.

When I learned that Dawn developed a new product claiming that soaking a dish that had hard, baked-on food for 5 minutes with Dawn Platinum and then you could wash it and it would be clean instead of soaking the dish over-night so it would be clean, I thought 'R-I-G-H-T'! During a shopping trip I decided to buy the smallest bottle of Dawn Platinum that I could find and give it a try--thinking--'Oh well, what do I have to loose? The worst thing that could happen is that I bought another product making a B-I-G Claim that couldn't back it up.' I cook and bake ALL the time, and I began to put this product to the test for myself to prove that 'companies will say anything and do anything' just to sell a product and make money not caring if they could back up their words or not. What a shock I received! For once, a company actually 'told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth!' It IS AMAZING! Okay--I admit I was extremely skeptical, but I also admit when a product works as well as a company claims it does! From then and on, I will use NOTHING but Dawn Platinum!! It is an AMAZING PRODUCT!!

“Hands Downs”, Dawn Dishwashing Detergent is one of the best that I’ve found to date. It’s cleaning effects are great with the bonus of a “degreaser”. It is a very good value for the cost & offers an array of choices e.g., scents, etc. Recommend without any reservations!

I have used this for years. I recently purchased a new bottle and was was immediately hit by this horrible odor...the bottle l Iisted the refreshing rain scent... NOTHING on the bottle listed NEW scent or formula. I am very disappointed because this soap works amazing, but I will need to find a new brand because I shouldn't want to gag while doing my dishes. Plus, you CANNOT get the smell off of your hands. Soooo Gross!
