The new scent of Dawn STINKS! I suspect this new scent is cheaper for you. It smells so bad, I am switching brands. It smells like teenage boy BO covered over with cheap drugstore cologne. Ugh!!! Remember when Coke made New Coke? EVERYONE hated it and that brainy idea blew up in their faces and they had to bring back original Coke??? I predict the same outcome for this new scent. It is awful and everyone agrees with me.

Don’t dishwashing liquid are the best when you need to clean dishes with heavy stains like dry pasta or anything that has been sitting in your sink for like two days I definitely used on I grab it about every day of the week because I feel like handwashing dishes is better than dishwashers so are you is this darn ultra platinum and it smells just like the sunshine and it’s so good for yourself and for the dishes and for your little kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this stuff because it performs as promised. Living in a house full of men who never rinse out pots and pans this Dawn is a God send! It also works well on stove tops and other kitchen surfaces that get nasty greasy like deep fryers. I just wet a sponge with Dawn Power, scrub it down, let it sit about 5 minutes and wipe clean.

Dawn is the gold standard for hand washing dishes in my kitchen.  It breaks up oils and grease better than any other cleaner I've ever used.  The ONLY drawback to Dawn is that it is too good--I don't use it on my nonstick pans any longer because they don't last if I use Dawn on them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn dish is awesome from the platinum to the original I will not use any other dish soap like it say it get the grease out. My mother used Dawn when it first came out and she never used any other dish soap. after that. My sisters feel the same way a three generation of dawn users Dawn dish soap is the best..

I was dishes & even did a over night soak & my dises still smelt like the chicken I cooked on them. I've been using Dawn over 15 yrs, Sure it might look Shinning & clean, Your Nose can smell it's not clean. I think that's Y the add all those amroma to it, To trick you in to think it's reallly Clean enuf to eat off

I refuse to use any other dish soap! Always reliable for my dishes and cleaning around my home. With two boys and my husband, we all make big messes. Great at getting difficult grease off of my casserole dishes, baking pans, and frying tools. The soap is thick, so a little does a long way.

Positively hate the new scent for the Dawn Platinum Advanced Power Formula. I have used nothing but Dawn for probably over 15 years. Product is great. But the new smell. ugh. Please change it back. Why do you need to change what was already a best seller. I have seen numerous dislikes for the new scent. And this is actually the first time I have ever given a review so that shows you how much of an impact this stinky sickening new scent has had on me. :-(

We’ve been happy with Dawn Platinum for quite awhile. No longer! Can’t have such a strong and nasty smell in our kitchen, not to mention in our dishwater and on our dishes. The old smell wasn’t great, but we buy dish soap for its cleaning power, not its perfume. Can’t get past the smell of this stuff, though, so unless and until you fix the stink problem we’re ex-fans.

I was a Palmolive girl due to growing up and seeing only that brand at home. Until recently, that has changed. Dawn makes it easier to clean the dishes. A little of the soap also goes long way. I love leaving heavy soiled items soaked with Dawn. It loosens up the food a lot faster and doesn't allow for the grease smell to stay.
