We’d expect you to enjoy an easy yet effective clean with our Dawn Platinum, so we’re sorry that you’re having this experience. The last formula change we made to this product was back in 2015, when we added a new ingredient for improved tough food cleaning. Hard water, which contains a lot of dissolved minerals, is the number one cause of reduced effectiveness. If you live in a hard-water area, you may need to use more dishwashing liquid. As well, the water temperature could be too low. We suggest making sure the water is 105 to 115°F (40.56 to 46.11°C). We hope this helps!
