Sure, it costs a bit more, but I think it is worth it, Almost every dishwashing soap on the market has been watered down so I am using this as it is one of the few dish soaps out there that actually gives you suds that lasts a while. Just wish I could find it in larger bottles.

I hate the new smell! I bought a giant bottle at a big box store thinking it was the same...it looked the same. As soon as I started using it I noticed it had a different smell. I can't stand the smell! What was wrong with the other scent?!? Why change a good thing?!?

I like using Dawn because it really works to get dishes clean. It really is a good value. I also really like that Dawn donates soap to help cleanup and ultimately save animal’s lives when an oil spill occurs. I’ve also been told but have not tried it myself that it kills ticks and fleas.

Dawn is just simply the Best dishwashing soap on the market. You don’t see anything else being used to clean animals after an Oil Spill do you? On top of that it’s such a great cleaner. It smells great it gets hard to get out stuck on food off easily too. It’s just an all around best product.

I love dawn dish soap and have used it for years. But the new scent is a sickening heavy perfume type smell. Doesn’t smell like a clean dish soap, rather a heavy lingering perfume. Especially inappropriate for a clean kitchen smell. I won’t continue to buy it if they keep this scent! Ick!

My most recent purchase of Dawn Platinum has a different scent than in the past. It is NOT pleasant! It is very strong, somehow goes straight into my throat and also lingers on my hands for quite awhile. I have uswd Dawn Platinum for quite a few years and have not had that in the past.

Good soap, cleans dishes well as would be expected. Looses a star because the scent could be better, it’s just plain but some may prefer that. I wouldn’t say the platinum works better than any of their other dish soap either, so I can’t recommend if it costs more but I’m not sure what the prices were.

Love the old product- cannot get past this new gross smell! Even my husband doesn't like it, and he usually could care less.... Will be seeking out alternative products. Hope I can still find the old 'Fresh Scent' formula somewhere. Feels like I was duped at my warehouse store...

I use dawn for everything. The simple answer is that it cuts through grease and stains. But I use it for so much more than dishes. It gets all the stains out of my baby clothes. Even dirt and grass are no match for dawn. I reccomend it to anyone and will purchase again.

No more scrubbing since I found this stuff! I have used it daily for years and highly recommend it. It cuts right through grease and baked on foods. When foods are dried and stuck tight, I simply rehydrate with hot water and a generous squirt of Dawn, wait 10 minutes, and wipe the grime right out!
