The rice is easy to cook as all you have to do is tear the sides and cook for 1.5 minutes. The rice itself tastes great. Make sure you squeeze the pouch before opening and cooking it.

As long as you follow the directions and break up the rice before putting it in the microwave, it cooks really well. It only takes 90 seconds and it's ready to go. Only took 2 minutes to heat up in the microwave. The rice wasn't clumpy. It had an unappealing aroma to it but I'm sure it's just due to it being precooked in a pouch. I made honey garlic shrimp and the sauce made the rice have a better flavor and more appealing to eat. I would only use this product if I was mixing it into a dish with other ingredients. I wouldn't eat it plain.
