[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooks extremely fast. Dinner was done in no time. I added veggies and some seasoning on top and the rice soaked everything up so well. The texture wasn't soggy or anything disappointing. And the family portion size was great for left over!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received BEN'S ORIGINAL Ready Rice Basmati Family Size Rice, Easy Dinner Side, 17.3 OZ Pouch. I liked the pouch. It was easy to open. I always use Uncle Ben” s but never tried ready rice. It was so easy to make and it was ready in minutes. Loved the taste. My kids also reslly loved it. The pouch made more than enough for the entire family. Plus there was no mess. Loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always not been that good at making white rice, and I don't make it enough to eat to invest in a rice maker. Ben's original basmati ready rice is really good, on its own it's slightly dry, but adding a little butter and salt or a nice stew or sauce on top makes it great. I've already gotten more packages and will continue to use this rice for my meals.

I have tried to purchase this from three different retailers. Each time, the Best if Purchased by Date is old and it all seems to be the same stuff sent to my area.

I bought ready ride long grain &wild with herbs. The store didn't have the box mix I usually use for a recipe that is a favorite. It turned out awful. Threw it out. So disappointed. I will have to search further for the original box mix.

I just bought this rice from price chopper and it's nasty.Smells bad tastes bad and say made with bioengineered ingredients.No thanks
