Ben's original basmati ready rice is really good, on its own it's slightly dry, but adding a little butter and salt or a nice stew or sauce on top makes it great. I've already gotten more packages and will continue to use this rice for my meals.

Amazingly smooth and buttery, absorbs spices and seasoning very well. Goes great with any meal of the day. I will be picking this up every week with my weekly groceries.

Both myself and my partner work so we are always looking for quick meals we can put together that is healthy and easy to make. The basmati rice is our favorite but we have tried almost every flavor. The family size feeds our family of two for two meals and it keeps great as leftovers.

We mixed ours with snap peas, premade lemongrass tofu, and peanut sauce and the results were so good. The rice is so fluffy, flavorful, and easy to make. To me, this is so worth the convenience when we're in the middle of a busy life. Will definitely buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I tried the Ben's Original Ready Rice, Coconut Jasmine variety. As for the 90 second microwave in the pouch, it was a simple prep. Just squeeze the pouch, tear a 2 inch length on the dotted line and place in the microwave. The pouch has two cool touch zones to remove the hot pouch from the microwave which worked great, and is a feature I have not seen on other microwave products. The rice was perfectly cooked. There also is a skillet option as well which we did not try. We both thought the coconut flavor was minimal at best. I personally did not like the sweetness of the rice, however my husband thought it was acceptably sweet. There is 5g sugar in a 1 cup serving. We served this with curry chicken and noticed this to be a bland side dish. Having made my own coconut rice, this pales in comparison. I personally would not buy this product.

Only took 2 minutes to heat up in the microwave. The rice wasn't clumpy. It had an unappealing aroma to it but I'm sure it's just due to it being precooked in a pouch. I made honey garlic shrimp and the sauce made the rice have a better flavor and more appealing to eat. I would only use this product if I was mixing it into a dish with other ingredients. I wouldn't eat it plain.
