The instructions are self explanatory (good for kids or low reading levels) the package is easy to handle while putting in and of the microwave and best of all the consistency is right! It's not mushy or too stiff. When prepared as directed it makes the perfect side side dish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got BEN'S ORIGINAL Ready Rice Basmati Rice, Easy Side Dish, 8.5 OZ Pouch and used ut for a super quick and easy side for dinner. They family loves it. I has a great taste on its own but adding a few chopped veggies really kicks it up a notch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed this rice so much. I like how it was fast and easy to cook, helped with my meal preparation and was a great addition to the meal. My nine year of son ate almost the whole bag because he liked it so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how convenient it is to cook, the pouch is great for easy heating and serving, and the "cool touch" label so you dont burn your fingers. I also like that there are no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be kind of dry and almost playdoh tasting though. I added seasonings and it was better, and the dish I used it in had a saucey texture and it definitely helped. The rice gave the dish a nice structure and the dish gave it a better flavor and texture. It is also fantastically portioned for a family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooks extremely fast. Dinner was done in no time. I added veggies and some seasoning on top and the rice soaked everything up so well. The texture wasn't soggy or anything disappointing. And the family portion size was great for left over!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super quick and easy side dish. It's easy to transport to work to cook or use at home. It cooked evenly through in the bag. It was a little dry but I figured this wouldn't be something I would eat alone anyhow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this rice! It's the only brand I buy. Very easy and quick in the microwave. I love adding butter to mine and just eating it like that, but there are so many dishes you can do with this, it's so versatile! You can use it in stir-fry, I mean this can be used with anything! So tasty!
