I gave it 3 stars, maybe should be less. Bought it May 11, 2026. Used it 4 times on a corner lot (not big). June 13, 2026, 4th time, 1/3 of way done, transmission went "clunk-click" and suddenly became a push mower! Back to Sam's Monday! 'Maybe' I'll be able to add some stars.

I wanted to like it but ultimately returned it after 2 attempts at using it. Came out of the box easy enough and was ready to go in minutes. I didnt care for the plastic wheels and the locking handles for the push bar seemed pretty flimsy. I was afraid they were goinng to break off. The fuel tank is not very big and would require more frequent refuelings. My first attempt, I got about half my front yard mowed only to have it stop self propelling. Turns out the belt had slipped off. Found someone to help me with it and managed to finish the lawn. 2nd time, about 2/3 of the yard and belt came off again. I just dont have time, energy nor patience for an hour or so repair each time I use it. Also, it was a bit fast. I have a steep front yard and going uphill was a comfortable pace. Downhill or on level ground and it moved quick! Probably too quick for elderly or younger teens. I called AI Power customer service as that is what it had said do in the manual. After some hold, they answered, I explained my problem and my dissatisfaction, wanting to return my purchase. Was advised they dont handle anything like that and to contact the retailer. Fortunately and thankfully, Sam's took the return and refunded my money without hesitation. Very much appreciate Sam's but I just can't recommend this mower.

My dad and took the lawn mower out of the box and folded the handle and up handles in to position. Then we tightened the red clams facing upward. We are having trouble with keeping the handle in place without it folding down even with a light touch. We tried tightening the clamps and bolt but it keeps doing the same thing. We have a good size yard that is extremely bumpy with every bump I roll over causing the handle to pop out of place. I may give a better rating if we can fix this issue with the handle and the clamps because the mower itself seems to run pretty well.

the first use it ran fine. the second use it started to run load and showed signs of burning oil and then started to shoot out white smoke.

Love the power and ease of this mower. 1 pull is all it takes. I’ve mowed my yard 3 times with it and the last time I used it the self propel feature stopped working. Haven’t figured out out why yet.

I replaced my battery mower with this one. This is a tall grass MONSTER. I got used to needing to take my time through tall grass with my electric mower… this thing just goes right through everything like butter.

Was excited when I purchased this mower. Once I unboxed it and found low on oil and no oil to top it off I was concerned. I read through books and found proper oil to use and topped off. Filled with gas and started mower with 1 pull. When cutting grass I found the self propell almost useless due to plastic wheels that get no traction. At my age and health I need the self propelled to work properly. Debating on returning mower because of this.

Easy to setup. But No Oil in box to fill to proper level, that is frustrating. Suppose to be ready to use. There was a warning on machine about buying your own oil. Have to work out oil issue since it needs oil to use, it was low. It makes the product seem Cheap. Hard to find where to register product

Just bought this mower and it performed as well or better than expected. Easy to start and it handled some rough areas of my lawn. Highly recommend.
