Self Proper Does Not Work
I purchased this mower on 5/26/26. I mowed with it 3 times and the self-propel stopped working. I would like to keep the mower. Can someone please reach out to me and help with troubleshooting the issue? Thank you very much!~

Great cut
Cuts and operates great. This lawnmower works beyond my expectations, engine start was simple and effective, self-propelled system is simple to operate. Awesome product!
I bought this mower on sale and used it for the first time last night. it was easy to unbox and unfold the push bar and adjust to desired hight. it came with a bottle of oil so after adding that and gas, it was ready to run. It started easily. I adjusted wheel height a couple of times to get the setting right. then i began cutting. The self propelled speed is a little fast, but I am 64 years old and I got used to the speed after 5 or 10 minutes and I was able to keep up with it just fine. I originally bought it for my rental property, but after using it, I have decided to donate my older craftsman self propelled mower to the renters instead of this new one. I am keeping this for use in my own yard instead.

It started off good
I read the reviews good and bad but purchased it anyway. The mower started out great. The self-propell feature went out after purchasing the one day before. I was hoping it was going to last but nope it went out. I have a nice size backyard and it did great. The mower weny out after i took a break and started on my front yard. The speed was great. I agree that this mower is too fast for an elderly person.

Great power and easy to start and operate
Bought this mower to replace my old one, the difference is literally night and day. The AiPower mower has enough power for all tall grass and weeds, and the self-propelled feature actually walks at a normal, comfortable pace. It is heavy duty and solid. It's been starting on the first try every time so far. Honestly, totally worth the money.

Bad mistake
Very disappointed in this lawn mower….they said it was easy to assemble which proved to be true since there is only one step… however the handle would not tighten enough so it would move up and down as you made turns and the rear wheel self propelled speed was very fast with the control bar hard to release and restart in the lower position… return this since I tried several times to get some support..thanks Sam's club for being so good about returning this item…

Worked great...for about 15 minutes
Worked great...for about 15 minutes. Then, well, the motor ran great, the cutting blade cut, and the self-propelled feature stopped propelling itself. Finished by pushing this heavy thing around my steep yard. Read manual again, says you can adjust the self propelled wire, so I did, to the maximum amount it allowed, and it still was human-powered all the way. Called Customer "Service", who did the same thing three times: put me on hold, told me how important the call was to them...and then disconnected. This company (A-iPower) is a disgrace. Sam's-take note. Even sharply discounted, these mowers are questionable at best and this kind of shoddy merchandise is *not* why I pay to shop here.

While the manual does reference a drive cable adjustment procedure, the self-propelled speed itself is not adjustable. Based on what you described, it sounds like the unit may require additional troubleshooting or service. Self-propelled Push Lawn Mower
All was in order from getting the mower out of the box to first time mowing the lawns. However. during the 3rd time using the mower, the side discharge chute broke. I guess the materials used to make the shut is too soft. Now a new chute is needed. The mower is a month old, so how do I get a new chute?
this mower is amazing! my lawn was 7 to 10 imches long and I MULCHED it with this mower!! the mower never stopped or studdered. the self propel is powerful and took me a minute to get a good pace. best feature the big red handle to raise and lower the mower is easy and a one handed operation! i would recommend A

Too Fast to Control, do not buy
I nearly face planted when I engaged the self propelled. WAY too fast, and no way to adjust it. Also - the grass flies out of the top of the bag catcher, as we are unable to get it attached in a flush way to contain the clippings. Zero chance I can use this mower. I'm not "elderly", but it is way too powerful for me. Do not buy. I'm going to try to return to Sam's, not sure if they will accept it though. HIGHLY disappointed. Do better.
