An Excellent Lawn Mower

Delivery was very fast, I placed the order at Sam's and received it next day. It starts up with ease with first pull! The engine is powerful, handling even tall grass without any trouble at all. The self-propelled RWD feature makes mowing much easier. Highly recommended!

Great mower at a very stong pricepoint!

I really liked this mower. I was in the market and purchased it at Sam's Club because it was there and at a great price. I got it home, and the setup was pretty seamless. The mower has been great. It cuts well and seems very sturdy and well-built. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market.

Floods really easy

Ran into some issue early on with this mower. the engine floods really easy, but if you let is sit a bit it will start right up. Knowing that it runs great and handles my hilly yard like a champ.

Hi Nathan, thank you for your feedback—we’re glad to hear the mower performs well and handles your yard with ease. Flooding can sometimes occur if the choke or fuel system isn’t fully settling between starts, especially when the engine is still warm. If this continues, we’d be happy to help you troubleshoot and make sure everything is operating as it should—feel free to reach out to our support team anytime. ~A-iPower Customer Support Team

Nice Mower, just a liitle too fast

This is a very nice mower. Very easy to start. My only objection is the self-propelled speed is a little TOO FAST. I have a stone wall in the center of my yard, and need to disconnect the ground speed as I approach it. After I have cleared it, I engage the self-propelled clutch and it almost jumps out of my hands. Nice having rear wheel drive, however - previous mower was FWD.

Hi Andy, Thank you for the feedback and for choosing the A-iPower mower! We’re glad to hear the mower has been easy to start and that you’re enjoying the rear-wheel-drive performance. We understand the self-propelled speed may feel faster than expected in tighter areas or around obstacles. The drive speed is designed to operate within industry standards for self-propelled walk-behind mowers, but we certainly appreciate the feedback and will share it with our product team for future consideration. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review! ~A-iPower Customer Support Team

This mower isn't worth it.

Sadly, I'm very disappointed with this lawn mower. First, and probably most important, is that Usain Bolt couldn't keep up with the self-propell speed. It's just way too fast and there's simply no way to adjust it. If you decide not to use it and just push the power, every now and then you'll accidently bump the handle to engage it. Especially if you're pulling backward toward you. Then the mower just takes off on you. It's so frustrating. Second is the handle that adjust the height. It's huge and plastic. Honestly I thought it would make adjusting easier, but that handle gets in the way. It gets caught on the shelvng as I'm pusing it in or out of my shed. It gets caught on the irrigation system on my raised beds. I can imagine that this handle will be broken off before then end of June. And finally, the handle is held in place by plastic disks with teeth on them. After just one time cutting of my lawn, they already seem loose. There's probably as much plastic on this lawn mower as you'd find in a lego factory. LOL. I'm pretty sure this will have to go back. It's just not worth the frustration.

Look elsewhere..

Maybe 3 hours use total! Drive belt came off first use. Ok maybe factory didn't install properly. Easy fix. Starts first pull, but after stopping to empty bag mower doesn't want to start. Usually 10-15 pulls to start. I have a 2008 push mower still starts first pull! Seems like all the new stuff is junk.

Not good

First time I used it, the self propel stopped working. Second time I used it, motor blew up. When self propel worked, it was too fast. Grass was a little tall and didn't cut very well because of how fast it wanted to go. Was impossible to have self propel at the speed I wanted. It was either none at all or too fast. No in between.

Never again

I just purchased this six weeks ago to the day and the self propelled mechanism has already stopped working. I’ve used it 4 times and now it’s a push mower. It sounded like cheap plastic junk anyway when it did work before. It also doesn’t handle tall grass very well, especially if there’s any moisture whatsoever. You definitely get what you pay for. I’ll be looking forward to returning it if I can.

DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. Purchased 5/2/26 and will be returning 5/19/26. Mowed with it 3 times and the self propel DOES NOT WORK. I will be returning to Sam's Club. They can deal with the manufacturer. I will not be. I purchased from Sam's, they have a contract with the manufacturer, I do not. If 0 stars could be awarded, it would have received a 0
