It contains menthol but is not an overwhelming scent. The cold sensation does last for around 8 hours, which I find very surprising. The fabric is flexible and on adheres well on a knee. I am very pleased with this product

The packaging is nice, the individual patches are easy to open and the ease of applying them is great as well. They stick well, but not so strong that it hurts getting them off later. They also lay nicely so there is minimal bunching and great coverage. I have also use these for my arms as well. I especially like that its all contained in one patch and there is no need to spray or apply a gel.

I keep the gel in my purse, the cream by my bedside table, and the patches in the drawer for easy access. The patches are easy to use and the pain relief lasts for a long time. I plan to stay stocked up on the Biofreeze products and I definitely recommend this product to anyone who has chronic pain. These patches make a world of difference.

I was having shoulder pain and I put the patch on my shoulder. It felt slightly cool but I just figured it needed some time to attach to the skin more to really feel the sensation. I was greatly disappointed. I didn’t feel the sensation unless I put pressure on it which defeats the purpose in my opinion. When there was pressure it felt good but otherwise I didn’t feel anything. I also didn’t like that it peels off from clothes rubbing against it. I had white “paper” all over the back of my shirt when I got home.
