I put it on before bed and leave it on all night. You could also use at anytime. It has a vanishing menthol smell. These are super easy to use without getting your hands messy. Lasts up to 8 hours. It also stayed in place. Paraben free. I'm impressed.

Easily came off after it was done being used. The only reason I rated it a four as stated applying was hard for me. For the patch it really helped with the pain.
