Customer reviews for De'Longhi Dedica Arte Espresso Machine forExcellent espresso maker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good and easy to use espresso maker, best I have tried in the past 2 years and this is by far my favorite. This machine is making good, tasty, strong espresso I love that it stops on its own whatever you choose single or double espresso; it definitely has the espresso size so don't expect to use this as a coffee machine it is very easy to use, this time around I can actually empty the used coffee ground without losing the pod in the sink. The size of the machine is perfect for my kitchen doesn't take too much space, very streamline
Modern Elegance and Fabulous Coffee Drinks!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with this Dedica Arte machine! Not only is it incredibly beautiful, it brews an amazing cup of espresso! I love that it does not take up much room on my countertop. It was easy to set up, and the instructions were clear and well explained. You can use your favorite cup, so you aren't limited to just a small espresso cup. I always add milk, and the machine makes creating silky and creamy foam very easy. I also like that it is easy to clean. If you are looking for an outstanding cup of espresso, then this is the machine for you. It also looks like a piece of luxurious art on your countertop too! I highly recommend this machine for any espresso lover. It is incredible!
Great Espresso
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Delonghi espresso machine has been a great addition to our kitchen. It was super simple to set up and learn how to use. We definitely feel like at-home baristas utilizing this machine. It is the perfect size to fit with all our other appliances on the counter top. I would recommend this espresso machine for sure.
Fabulous - I Love Doing Latte Art With This!
What I like about De'Longhi Dedica Arte - Produces high quality steamed milk and espresso What I don't like about De'Longhi Dedica Arte - After 2 to 3 drinks you'll have some wait time before you can make another (to be expected with non commercial appliances, but would be a luxury feature to resolve this) Things that entertained me about bad reviews of De'Longhi Dedica Arte (cause you can tell these people were never baristas before): Problem 1. I saw complaints that the pods come out of the portafilter if you knock it against something. This is supposed to happen so you can clean the brewer with the cleaning portafilter and so you can better clean both the pods and portafilter areas. Solution 1. What you need is called a knock box, which is just a box with a bar in it. It's what baristas use to knock the espresso out of the pod without knocking the pod out of the portafilter. If you don't have a knock box, you can use a bowl or tupper ware and a butter knife over that to knock it against and have the pod land in the bowl or tupperware. Hold the knife while you do this. Problem 2. I saw complaints that the steam wand was too loud. I'm not trying to gaslight you, maybe you did get a product with an issue to it. But my perspective is this steam wand is perfect. You just might not know how to use it. Solution 2. Basically the issue is you need to think of it as you are building up pressure in the pitcher like a tea kettle, and you have to relieve that pressure by making the steam wand hiss at the beginning to take pressure out of the steam being introduced to the milk. Then you need to keep just the first inch or so in the milk in the pitcher (right where there's a line on the tip so you can unscrew and deep clean it). You want to make sure not only you're not too deep, but also if you were to imagine 2 perpendicular lines like a cross over your pitcher, I like to keep my milk wand in the top left section of that imaginary spot. Right there with a tilt of about 45 degrees is where I find my milk vortex and after my initial hissing at the beginning there is not much sound. Problem 3. People were upset that when you close the portafilter of espresso in the machine after you pack it, the machine moves easily as you try to shut that. This is because if you made the machine too heavy people wouldn't be able to easily move it, and I bet there would be a lot of complaints about that. It would definitely inconvenience me on the clean up. Solution 3. As I am placing my packed portafilter into the espresso machine, I put my other arm on top of the machine as I close it to hold it down, like I'm posing for my old school photos.
Great machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do not have a lot of counter space and the narrow width is truly impressive for any kitchen appliance, especially an espresso machine. It's deep and narrow profile make it ideal when you are limited on space. Besides the fact that this can fit almost anywhere, it is also beautiful to look at; it shines and immediately catches my eye when I enter the kitchen. The water tank is great and makes the perfect amount every time. I did run just water the first time running the machine. The machine is as loud as any other espresso machine I have owned I the past which is completely normal and to be expected. The steam wand is fun to use. I turn it on and run it for a second with an empty cup before frothing my milk. I have completely fallen in love with cappuccinos and lattes thanks to this machine. This also makes a beautiful espresso with the crema you would expect from a coffee shop. I love that the tamper is included along with a box of de-scaler. A scoop along with a single and double shot filter are all included as well. The only thing not included is a frothing cup.
Espresso that is guaranteed to warm your soul!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a great cup of espresso in the morning no longer has to cost an arm or a leg, and even better, doesn’t require one to be a professional barista. That is all thanks to the De’Longhi EC885M Dedica Arte Espresso Machine. This small machine warms my soul every morning with a great cup of espresso. Setup is not that hard as long as you read the instruction manual and follow the steps listed. I cannot stress this point strong enough, all issues getting your first cup of the best espresso you will have can be minimized or eliminated all together by reading and following the manual. The small footprint of the EC885M takes up little room on my counter. This is great since modern kitchens tend to have little counter space with all the gadgets that are out there. Once set up the machine is extremely easy to use. Simply measure out the right amount of coffee using the provided accessories, press the appropriate button, and voila, you have your espresso. I can tell you that the machine produces a smooth, steady flow of espresso that is the best tasting espresso I have ever had. De’Longhi has hit a home run with this machine. You get great tasting espresso while saving money since you will never want to get it from a coffee shop again. I highly recommend the De’Longhi EC885M. The espresso from it will warm your soul too.
Great espresso for the home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is small and compact making it perfect for counter space. The machine’s design also makes it so that it does not stand out as something different from an ordinary countertop appliance. It is easy to clean and easy to use, producing a great shot of espresso. The only faults with the system I can see revolve around the distance between the group head and the base as well as the overall power of the machine. The distance between the group head and the base is not large enough to accommodate a basic coffee cup. It would be nice if this was increased so the shots could be delivered straight to the cup instead of to a shot glass which has to be transferred to a cup. The power of the machine is not strong enough to use coffeeshop grade espresso grounds and the steam wand does not produce enough steam for a full 16oz latte. Overall we are pleased with the machine and it produces good shots of espresso.
Loving it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I miss getting espressos everyday at work and this Dedica Arte machine satisfies my daily espresso cravings from the comfort of my kitchen. Absolutely love how small the footprint is on my counter and the quality of the espresso is fantastic (get good beans!). Really well made machine, and easy to use. I enjoy using it each morning as I look out my window mentally preparing for the day ahead.
Small but Mighty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several espresso machines from inexpensive to exorbitant. I have never tried the Delonghi brand until recently but I'm now a huge fan. This little machine performs just as well as my largest most expensive espresso machine. I now exclusively use the Delonghi Dedica Arte which is well worth it as a small footprint saves me a lot of counter space. I have not experienced any problems using it however I do recommend a thorough read through of the instructions for new users. The machine cleans up quickly and easily and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys great tasting espresso at home.
So happy I found my dream espresso machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found my dream espresso machine, one that has a small footprint but doesn’t compromise on function. It is stunningly well made and looks amazing on my kitchen counter. As a beginner to making my own espressos, I really appreciate how easy it is to use. It took some time, but I’ve figured out how to make an espresso that tastes just as delicious as the ones I get from my nearby coffee shop. This is where the steam wand really comes in handy. I also like that the bottom tray is removable to allow for taller cups. I am very satisfied and will save a lot of money now.
