Some things to consider with this product. I read the instructions for initial set up. However, once i wanted to use the espresso maker, it would not drip. Unable to find "troubleshooting" in the manual, I went to the internet. If you have your own grinder, you cannot grind the beans too finely and also you want to make sure you are NOT passing the lines that delonghi indicates in the filter after you pack it firmly. Once I made those corrections, the extraction came out "perfect" as per the manual. To froth my ALMOND milk, i had to ensure I was not submerging the tip of the frother into the frothing jug, but keeping the tip just below the surface. Once I learned that, the almond milk would froth, otherwise, it was just hot almond milk. I have been using this product everyday, and i Love it. Thank you!!!!

I love this machine. I was a barista for years and a recovering coffee snob and I’m always looking for the right machine and I think this may be it. Easy to use, makes the perfect shot once you play with grind and dosage to suit your tastes. I use this several times a day. I am the only coffee drinker in my house so if there were several more I’d probably have elected to purchase a full-size espresso bar but for my own needs this is great. The only little pet peeve I have is that I have to turn the machine off and then on again if I want to pour more than just the two shots. But everything is stainless steel- no plastic anywhere that matters- I love it.

No major complaints. Can produce OK espresso with no upgrades. Can produce very good espresso if you upgrade to an unpressurized portafilter and you have a solid grinder that can produce true espresso quality grinds. The only issue is that the portafilter is difficult to lock in place without also gripping the machine to keep it from moving which I find slightly annoying. For the price it’s hard to beat though. Recommended.

It's funny that Walmart is asking to write a review after they have cancelled my order 3 times just for no reason. I ordered it on Amazon eventually. Anyway, the Espresso machine is really good: very well made, nice design and quite tiny. It comes with a temper and with a really convenient spoon. Very strong steamer as well - it makes just a perfect milk foam. If you are an espresso lover - this machine is for you. Pay attention though, to get the best espresso or cappuccino you have to buy a good burr coffee grinder and a milk pitcher.

A fine machine, but sensitive to the grind of coffee and to the degree of tamping. Too fine a grind and too hard a tamp can lead to clogging of the tiny pinhole through which the espresso is extracted. This can cause the machine to come to a dead halt and require cleaning. Observe these principles and you’ll enjoy many a great cup!

This is my second DeLonghi. My first, lasted a very long time, due to the quality of the build. I never considered another brand when it was time for replacement. This new Dedica is just as well made. This brand delivers a great cup of coffee, whether it is Americano or Espresso. Fair price, great product and helpful customer service. A winner!

I purchased this upon returning from Italy. It does not disappoint! Compact (6 inches wide) yet well built, it produces espresso that rivals those Italian cafes. Easy to use even for a novice like me. I am learning to froth milk like an expert barista! Worth every penny!

I like the company and I believe in it , however this machine is NOT making the espresso with a nice rich crème. I have gone into the menu and altered the temperature . I have used three of my fav beans . I grind fresh daily. I have altered the fine / course , I have tampered the ground beans hard medium and light . I have had two previous machines with this company , I don’t think of myself as an expert , however I am certainly not a rookie . The company has responded to my questions but at this juncture I am not satisfied with my Christmas present to myself . I am uncertain what I will do. And this email arrived today!

It would be perfect if it worked as promised. I was able to froth milk only the very first time I used it, after that, no matter what I do, it just will not froth! Since I've watched numerous how to videos and it did work the first time, I don't think it's my inability. I cannot express how disappointed I am - a perfect silky milk is a must in my coffee. Also, recently, after pressing the "cup" button to express the coffee, there was the usual noise, but nothing was coming out. I checked water level, and everything else possible, all was good but it would not work. Eventually it did, but this has happened 3 times already! I don't know, maybe the one I got is defective. I love the sleek, modern design, the simplicity of use and the small footprint. It's all I wanted, if it only worked...I want it to work.

We got this machine as a replacement for our De' Longhi 15 bar pump espresso machine at the recommendation of a De'longhi "coffee specialist" because our old model was sold out. This machine is just okay. The auto shut off feature causes a double shot to stop short of a full shot, so I have to run the shot twice to get each cup full. The steaming wand is temperamental and doesn't froth the milk as well as our de'longhi 15 bar pump espresso maker did. The only positive is the smaller design saves room on the counter top.
