[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three dogs LOVE these treats and they help them to settle down at the end of the day or when company comes over without totally knocking them out. I'm sure they will come in handy this summer when we're dealing with fireworks jitters. Will plan to continue using for sure. Only downside is they want more than one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 4 dogs with a primarily husky breed and while 3 of them are pretty good at calming down immediately by command when we have company, there is one that will pup that will lets just say - gets very excited and is very vocal. I've tried numerous things to discourage this behavior and have not much success whereas the other 3 are from the same family so it's hard to evaluate what needs to happen when they are all have shared genetics and environment. I like to host a lot so this has added some stress onto myself and my guests to figure out how to meet everyone in the middle. Here comes in the Calming Chews bites.. before having company, I'll give my troublesome pup a couple of of these treats an 30minutes to an hour in advance to really ensure the supplement has had time to digest. While this does not remove her barking when company comes over, I've noticed that it does notably reduce her cooling off period to calming down. It's taken me awhile to really test this and tease out familiarity of people being a factor but this does lead me to believe it is working. Like I mentioned in the subject title it's not a magic bullet by any means to have her magically obey to becoming calm - think of when the last time someone told you to calm down - did you . But the ingredients have an established profile on how they also induce calming with humans so I can understand how this definitely helps take the edge off! All in all, I do hope buying these with some applied behavioral coaching may reduce the time to get her to be more approachable to guests rather than be dependent on a relaxant but time will only tell! Lastly I gave this 4/5 stars because I wanted to be reasonable with my review in terms of effectiveness but a few of the treats were pre crumbled as opposed to being bite ready so just wanted to call that out.

Our oldest dog is going blind from progressive retinal atrophy. She has become anxious about it and tries to bite our other dogs when bumped into. She has so frightened the youngest dog that she too developed anxiety. Chewy to the rescue! These calming supplements have both of them behaving much better. We are no longer constantly afraid of a fight breaking out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog didn't change at all with these from an energy or anxiousness level. If nothing it felt like he was aggressive or more nervous with us and the kids. He did like the flavor of them and had no issues eating them.

It took some coaxing to get them to eat these, but now they are obsessed. They love the taste and get so excited to eat them every night. Our younger dog used to wake us up before our alarms every morning, but ever since she started getting these treats at night, she sleeps until it's time for us to get up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog will eat almost anything, but she didn't like these. She treated them like she does her monthly flea and tick pill. It has a smoky scent, and I think she just doesn't like that. I donated them to my work (vet tech here) and some really liked them and some didn't. Hit or miss. I'd say if your dog likes the hickory smoke flavored Greenies Pill Pockets, then these are treats for you. If they don't, then I'd maybe sample them before commiting to a purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these calming dog chews for a couple of days now and they really do help take the edge off for my anxious pup. I usually give her one before car rides or when there are thunderstorms, and I can tell shes noticeably more relaxed without being drowsy. He loves the taste - no problem getting him to take them. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that they take a little while to kick in (about 30-45 minutes in our case), so you do have to plan ahead. Overall, a great product that's made a real difference for my dog's anxiety!

When using these treats I did notice a difference in their behavior but nothing too drastic. My dogs can be somewhat picky when it comes to treats and it took a little while before they wanted to try these. At times I would put a bit of peanut butter on it and they enjoyed that better. Not sure what was putting them off about these. Overall I think these are great calming treats. *I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our pup has always been afraid of storms, the vacuum, firecrackers, and just about any other loud noise there is. We've had a wave of bad storms the last few nights. We gave him two of these treats and there was definitely a difference. He was still scared but he wasn't constantly whining and shaking like he normally would. We gave these to him before we put him to bed and we didn't hear a peep out of him the rest of the night where usually, we'd hear him moving around or shaking in the crate.
