Works great for my American Hairless Terrier who has severe separation anxiety. We give her one 30 minutes before we leave home. She doesn’t chew her paws nearly as much as she did without it.

Since the passing of my 2 senior dogs (one 6 months ago and one just after xmas) my 6 yo aussie mix has been scared of everything, even things she weren't scared of before. Her anxiety has been through the roof. Tail tucked, jumpy, and hiding at any noise. I know she's grieving the loss of her 2 siblings/protectors and has lost all of her confidence in the process. Since the loss of her sister (Dec. 28, 2025) I have watched my poor baby suffer from anxiety and grief. It broke my heart and I wanted/needed to do and find something that would help ease her anxiety. I wanted to avoid medication because she is a young healthy dog and I don't want her "drugged up". After tons of research and knowing rescues that give shelter babies these calming chews, I decided to buy a jar. I also got a pheromone diffuser to aid in helping her feel calmer and safe. The directions said to give 2 chews per her wgt but being the 1st time she has ever had anything like this I opted to only give her one to see how it reacted with her. 20 minutes after she ate the calming chew, which she loved, she was her happy self again!! No hiding or tucking tail!!! She was not bothered by noises and she has been wagging her tail all day!! I'm sold on these calming chews! Will definitely keep em on hand! We would not be without these in our house. Truly, if we give our dog one or two of these about 30 minutes prior to what we think may be a triggering experience (car ride, vet visit, kennel stay, new person/people coming to the house, crowded event, etc.) she is so much more at ease. If we want her to be tired (like when we are leaving the house for awhile) we give her the calming bites with melatonin.

My dog has separation anxiety, anxiety in general and is afraid of thunder. She's my service dog and developed this unfortunately due to not being petted. I tried this and she loves it . It also really works. When she's working, she often has anxiety. The Calm tabs help so much that now she is letting all of her "friends" pet her. She's so much better!!! I recommend this for all dogs that need it.

My sweet boy has terrible separation anxiety that causes him to turn into a monster. I give him a dose of the Calming Bites and can notice a difference within 30 minutes. He is calmer and more willing to train. He didn't care for the taste of the duck flavor but we switched to peanut butter and he loves them!

These chews are effective for my dog before I take her to the vet or during thunderstorms and fireworks. She is a 95 lb German shepherd and I give her four chews about an hour before we see the vet. She gets a bit restless on the car ride, otherwise. She isn’t anxious or scared during thunderstorms or fireworks, but the loud sounds aggravate her endlessly and she ends up barking and running back and forth. She likes the taste of the chews and they seem to calm her down. The only issue I’ve had is that the bottom ones tend to be smashed into smaller pieces.

It's been a full jar so far but I have not noticed any calming effects

If you want something fairly mild to help your dog with anxiety, this is great. It seemed to help my dog stop his nervous nibbling on hands and seemed to help him sleep better at night. I have an 18 lb corgi/terrier mix and I've been cutting the chews in half, which seems like the perfect dose for him-just enough to keep him calm but definitely alert. The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that the chews (even when I give my dog a whole one and even two) is that it does not seem to hinder my dog's crazy energy level at all; he still jumps on people whenever they enter the house and runs in circles. However, it definitely helps with the anxiety and I like that it doesn't heavily sedate my dog. Would recommend!

I really didn’t notice any difference at all. My dog is very anxious as always barks at everything he sees.

DOES NOT WORK ! Reading different reviews, I thought I'd go with these calming chews, many 5 star reviews. followed directions for my dog, nothing happened,she was more hyper, next couple days gave her more, still hyper. this was with my dog. Maybe a senior dog would change to a puppy. Didn't work with my do, did opposite.
