My girls just turned a year old and thought it would help keep them calmer when cooped up inside during the rain. They just lounged in their beds! We have also used them when having company over. They always get extra excited when people are over. We got the compliment that they were much calmer than usual!

Although she has good days, she has days where she is agitated and we have to separate them. I was excited to try these chews on one of her "bad days". It has helped us tremendously! She takes a whole chew and is relaxed. They don't make her sleep, just relaxed but she is still alert which makes me feel like we're not drugging her. Eventually we hope they will get along with continued training but in the meantime this has been helpful assisting us!

As you can see in the video, my dog Frank absolutely loves these Zesty Paws Calming Plus Bites. The soft texture and the flavor seem to be his favorite! For me, I love the calming effect that they create for him! Frank is a precocious, 2yr old, 90lb, pitbull mix, with anxiety. By giving him the recommended dosage per his weight, once a day, as needed, he becomes much more calmer in stressful situations. I will definitely be recommending this product to all of my dog-owning friends and family!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my pups like it but the other didn't even touched it. I will say the one that ate it slept all night in a slumber. He usually wakes up around 3am to wee but not when he takes them. He's also a senior and it helps with his little anxiety.

Luna is a rescue dog with a nervous disposition. Because she is so distracted by her fears, it has been hard to motivate her with treats - but not with these! Luna loves her calming bites and is always excited and focused when they come out. I'm surprised by how good they smell and love that they are chock full of great ingredients. Time will tell when it comes to calming her anxiety, but I think they help and they certainly are something she looks forward to in her day!

They ate them as "treats" which is great. No forcing them to get them down. I think with longer, consistent use I would have seen a more noticeable change in their behavior. But even with one dose I did notice that my "working dog" was more chilled out, less pacing around and constantly asking for things. I do need a product like this around, for at home and before car rides so I will absolutely continue to purchase.

My dogs love the flavor of these treats and coming running when they hear the crinkling of the bag. While the flavor appears to be great, I did notice that they didn't seem to do much for my dogs by way of calming. So I deducted two stars for effectiveness. However, I realize every dog's experience may be different - so don't hesitate to give this product a try.

Second, these actual seemed to work, because we live in the south and we had a bunch of bad storms. They seemed to be more calm than usual. I would definitely buy these again. Taken for an extended period of time, my super anxious dog may totally calm down overall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very anxious shepherd rescue, so we have been looking for some kind of treat that we could give her to help ease her anxiety when we leave her home while we are working. We got this one for free in exchange for a review so we decided to try it. While I can't say this takes all her anxiety away, but it does minimize her barking and when we got home at night she slept very well. She also seemed to really enjoy the taste. I will note that this treat has melatonin in it so I don't think I would want to give it to her every day. But if we know she may have a hard day, I will consider giving this to her and I definitely think we will use it for the Fourth of July.
