Dear Freshpet, Our sweet angel Bailey is 16 years old and since we’ve introduced Freshpet two years ago, her energy level and spark in her eyes is back! I started buying this dog food - together with the chicken& turkey slice & serve - because it is listed on the ASPCA website as certified humane. I keep buying it because my dogs are doing so well on it. I love that when I look at them, they no longer have crusty eyes!! And overall, they're in much better health. So thank you for a wonderful product.

My jack Russell chihuahua mix has been on a variety of Freshpet formulas for about a month now and we’re both absolutely in love with this food! His hair is shinier, he’s even more active than before and the biggest change I’ve seen is in his # 2 habits. He goes about half the amount as before because he’s absorbing all of his food and now his stools are perfectly firm and normal . I do wish there was more protein variety in their line but I cam easily overlook this due to the many positive benefits I’ve seen in switching to this food! If you have a dog with skin issues or digestive problems, try this food! Just make sure to gradually switch their old food with this over a span of a week like I did . Enthusiastically recommended!!

My 14 year old Chihuahua had gotten to where she literally would not eat anything. It was so bad, I had to start syringe feeding her baby food. I have a 12 year old 3 lb chihuahua. I initially started using this food because she no longer has enough teeth to chew her food. She is also a very finicky eater. This is the only soft food that she liked the taste of. We have been using this for 6 months now, and the changes in her are amazing. She has never had very much hair. She is now fuzzy and has fur all over her. I can't believe how much healthier this food is for her and how much happier she is. I just wish I had found this sooner!

My Yorkshire terrier, Tucker, who turned 15 on January 1, was recently diagnosed with early-stage kidney disease. I was worried sick because he wasn't eating and was losing weight -- until we tried Freshpet. Tucker loves it, and is now back to old healthy weight. His vet also approves!

I switched my little girl to Freshpet several years back and she has been doing SO amazing on it! She is 16 1/2 years old and still has a fair amount of energy despite being diagnosed with CHF several years back. She gets up with me and goes running to the fridge, doing her little twirlly-twirls. our lab is 8 years old and have had so many allergy problems to food and have tries so many different brands and she was always scratching. The vets were always telling us different things we could do. We first put her on the Freshpet chicken in the refrigerated Log about a a year ago, we started noticing a difference in her coat and overall health. The itching began to get less and her overall mood changed.. Today we went to Target and found that now it comes in a new Dry Form without grain. We could not wait to get it home so we could try it.. This food our dogs normally love. But even before opening the bag sometimes it starts turning white and spoils. And it's not anywhere close to the expiration date. Once it starts turning the dogs refuse to eat. Otherwise normally they can go through a bag in 2 days if it stays normal color.
