I couldn't find a canned or dry product that my dog would continue to eat. One day I decided to try the small dog batch that you have, and I fed my dog a serving and he wolfed it down. He loves your food. I feed him twice a day and he will tell me in the evening that it's time to eat, most days he wants it early. He has been eating it for about 3 months and never tires of it. I have a 3yr-old small poodle/chihuahua mix that has given me fits trying to keep him happy at mealtime. He has eventually rejected every food I offer and was talked into a raw-food diet that’s costing us a crazy amt of money-and he only eats it about 50%of the time. The other day I spotted Fresh Pet in the grocery store -in a refrigerator case I have barely noticed in the past. My dog has, for the first time, eaten his meals with gusto! I have had dogs my whole life and my past 2 yellow labs ate PetFresh. My first lab was when I was introduced to PetFresh and it LITERALLY saved my dogs life. He was so sick from diabetes and wouldn’t eat ANYTHING. Then we tried PetFresh and voila he loved it. My next lab only ate PetFresh from 8 weeks old. Now I have a mini Aussie and what a picky eater. I have a well loved and spoiled Chi named Gracie and @ almost 13. So far so good... stools are firm (tends to have a sensitive stomach) I love her regardless and am pleasently suprised by her excitement to eat (mornings are a battle of the witts) I would do anything for her and look forward to many more years of having such a fantastic fur child in my life ...she has made me a better person..love them like your own children and they will love you back ...great job Fresh Pet!!!!!

This is the only food my 17 year old dachshund is able to eat and he loves it. The kibbles are soft but stay separated making them easy for him to eat. As he has difficulty with the mechanics of eating, he was unable to eat hard kibbles or soft canned dog food. This food is the perfect solution.

Well I brought Fresh Pet because of the commercial about food allergies in pet. So I have a 6 year old yorkie (Charlie Sheen), that has had a skin allergy for the last year. Shots and all. So I thought I'd give Fresh Pet s try. Do the weaning process started, I would mix a bit of his old food with Fresh Pet. He really likes it. Okay this will work. I left for work one morning feeding him the mixture and within seconds it was gone. My husband decided he needed more food a bit later in the day, so he placed abit of his old food in the bowl. When I returned from work he was a constant on my heels and legs while I got in the house. I asked "what you need, what's wrong", several times before making it to the kitchen. Still he's hanging on my legs. Again I ask "what's wrong, what you need. He sat down by his bowl and motioned to the bowl then the refrigerator and back to his bowl. Giving me a signal that he didn't have the right food. I opened the fridge and that was it. I poured Fresh Pet in the bowl and poof it was gone. Smart dude should I say. He loves it..

After several trips to our vets office, checking to see what our baby had going on, they could find nothing. He is a Boston terrier and his weight has always been around 22 lbs. He started with stomach issues with loose bowls to just simply not eating. His vet said maybe he had an intestinal bacteria. We tried antibiotics, and had blood work done, and they found nothing. They suggested very expensive dental procedures, but said his teeth were fine. When he reached 16 lbs, we were trying anything to get him to eat. Boiled chicken and rice, to scrambled eggs. Nothing was working and we were preparing ourselves for the worse. And then, I saw a commercial for your food. We thought, we had to hope the the commercial wasn't just hype. Well..After we put the bowl down, he ate like a starving animal. We couldn't believe it. Now 4 weeks in and he runs to the refrigerator and jumps around letting us know he wants more. He not only plays again and runs around with his dog sister, we put our other dog on it now! His weight has come up 3 lbs. And his coat that always has been wiry, is so soft, he's like a different dog. So now both dogs are on Freshpet, and we have our boy back. And it's true, they both act like puppies again. Thank you Freshpet, because if I had not seen your commercial, we would have lost our beloved baby.

I have been feeding my dog bear this food for a few months now and he seems to love it. Now he won't eat dry food or anything else.thats y I call it dog crack I just wish it was a little cheaper.i do highly recommend it for anyone who loves their pet though.

After reading the reviews on this product, I was excited to try my 2 little Chihuahuas on it. As soon as I got home from the store, I opened the Freshpet Small Dog Chicken Recipe and almost the entire bag was moldy, so I was unable to see if my 2 dogs would've liked it.

our lab is 8 years old and have had so many allergy problems to food and have tries so many different brands and she was always scratching. The vets were always telling us different things we could do. We first put her on the Freshpet chicken in the refrigerated Log about a a year ago, we started noticing a difference in her coat and overall health. The itching began to get less and her overall mood changed.. Today we went to Target and found that now it comes in a new Dry Form without grain. We could not wait to get it home so we could try it..
