My chihuahua is 14 and has pretty much stopped eating. She has never liked wet food and hardly has any teeth left. I was boiling chicken and rice but she was not doing well on that. This is the only food my 17 year old dachshund is able to eat and he loves it. The kibbles are soft but stay separated making them easy for him to eat. As he has difficulty with the mechanics of eating, he was unable to eat hard kibbles or soft canned dog food. This food is the perfect solution.

I have a very picky Shih Tzu! I could not get her to eat anything except boiled chicken. Then I tried Freshpet. My little dog loves this! I am so happy that I tried it. Just after so long our dog would stop eating no matter what we did, I ran into fresh pet dog food at Smith's marketplace and decided to give it a try. After my 7 month old puppy was healing from a spaying surgery (just got back from) her appetite was gone, but the only thing she would eat was Freshpet chicken treats. We tried giving her normal kibble and some beef wet food but she wouldn't touch it, she's never had beef before though so that might've played a part. My mom decided to try FreshPet and my dog went crazy for it, ate the whole thing in one sitting and even picked up the paper plate and flung it around. She's never ever done that in the 4+ months we've had her, we've tried multiple kibble/wet food brands as well. We've switched to the Vital line rolls and she still likes them, we mix with her normal kibble and she eats around the kibble (she usually comes back to finish it after). This food is definitely worth the price although the feeding guidelines seem a little too much. The kibble we fed promises shiny coats (which it did provide) but with freshpet her coat is even more shiny and she's so much more happier to eat. Her poops are smaller compared to the kibble which gave her huge stools for her size. The food has a strong scent of meat.

My Gabby girl absolutely loves meal time. I started her on Blue and she wasn't very interested in feeding time.SincwnI switched to Fresh Pet Small Dog food she bounces around the kitchen when she hears the bag. Also, her vet says she is at an ideal weight and very healthy.
