My 5 yr old Yorkie, has gained a little weight, eating too many "cookies" ...as rewards. I purchased Freshpet food to give her, instead of all the treats. She loves it...and on occasion, I give her a serving for a meal. She gobbles it up. She loves this stuff! I wish I could afford to feed her only this food, but with multiple dogs in house, no possible. She will continue to get this food as her "reward" each day! Highly recommend this product!

I started buying this dog food - together with the chicken& turkey slice & serve - because it is listed on the ASPCA website as certified humane. I keep buying it because my dogs are doing so well on it. I love that when I look at them, they no longer have crusty eyes!! And overall, they're in much better health. So thank you for a wonderful product.

My toy poodle (age 17), whose prior life was as a breeding female in a puppy mill, stopped showing any interest in eating about 6 months ago. It was hard to keep her weight from dropping below 5 pounds. The only things she'd eat were Cheerios and vanilla ice cream. Then I saw the Freshpet commercial starring the older pug who also had lost interest in eating. What a moment! I bought Freshpet the next day and Maisie has been eating and gaining weight ever since. My 14 year old miniature Schnauzer was sick and stopped eating her regular dog food. I tried so many foods hoping to tempt her to eat something besides boiled chicken breast. I tried freshpet for small dogs. I was so relieved when she cleaned her bowl. She loves this food. I am finding that her poops are a lot smaller and she goes less frequently. I guess because there are less fillers?

I switched my little girl to Freshpet several years back and she has been doing SO amazing on it! She is 16 1/2 years old and still has a fair amount of energy despite being diagnosed with CHF several years back. She gets up with me and goes running to the fridge, doing her little twirlly-twirls. I'm a little late to writing a review. My dog was a very pickie eater she was not a fan of kibble and when she liked one it only seemed to last a short time. She has some stomach issues once and a while so her vet suggested I try a bland diet for her. Of course she loved getting home cooked meals and she thrived. We tried a dehydrated brand for a bit but like the kibble be it after about 6 months she wasn't interested. In a moment of desperation because she wasn't eating and she was healthy I stopped at a grocery and said to myself why the heck not. That was 4 years ago, it almost brings me to tears thinking about. All the worry if the food I was giving her would upset her stomach or worrying if I had time to prepare stuff or if she was getting enough nutrients. My 13 year old Bichon Archie had some teeth removed, and I could tell that the hard kibble he used to eat was hurting him. I decided to try the Freshpet Small Dog Chicken recipe and he just loved it...Us dog owners don't mind spending more if their furry friend benefit....It's going to be Freshpet going forward!

I have looked into fresh food for my 13 week English bulldog and just could not afford it unfortunately. He always has loose stools and bulldogs are just known for sensitive stomachs and digestive tracts I stumbled upon fresh pet at the grocery store and thought I would try it right now I’m still mixing it with kibble to adjust him but oh my goodness he goes nuts for this stuff and he is by no means a picky eater he will eat anything but I never saw him go this crazy for a food! And I must mention his stools are perfectly normal now!!! Thank you freshpet!!!
