First of all, I want to note that I have submitted previous reviews which were apparently rejected due to trash talking about LG.com installers. So I won't talk about that here except to say to research whether LG's installers will meet your needs. Once properly installed, I am very happy with this model. It is so convenient to not have to measure detergent and clean the measuring cup every time. After months of use, it seems to wash well, reliably, and quietly. However, the user interface and customer service could use work. Nothing in the manual or customer service rep training could tell me when to use "AI Wash" (a new mode that appeared on this model). Customer service reps are confused because "AI Wash" was a feature instead of a mode on previous models, and they can't get their heads around the new AI Wash mode. Whoever designed it made the decision to have the default mode be "Normal" instead of "AI Wash" so I am going to assume AI Wash is more for marketing than performance and ignore it.

Had washer for about a year and it has performed flawlessly. Washing cycles very efficient and quick. It’s very quiet, direct drive motor is a great advantage. Would give it 5 stars except for the door is not reversible- my washer has to go on the right side of my LG washer-dryer pair because of dryer vent duct location so doors open to the middle making laundry transfer from washer to dryer very awkward. Would be great if LG offered an option for door opening direction.

Fantastic clothes washer. Key purpose was to get a washer that can handle a California King thick comforter. We went into the store with ours to do a fit. When we got the washer home to actually wash the comforter, the washer did a great job. The phone app is neat as well since it opens up more wash cycles and it is faster to set up the washer for the next load. Another nice feature is that when the washer reports 50 minutes, the load is done in that time. Our last washer took over 20 minutes to finish the last minute.

I really wanted to like this machine, but I don’t. The options you are allowed to do are crazy limited. Let’s suppose you’ve started a wash load and then realize you want to cancel it. There is no way to do that. There is no “cancel and drain” option. Also, there is no “spin only” option, if you wanted to do an additional spin. There is no “rinse and spin” option, if you wanted to do a pre-rinse to rinse off the dirtiest dirt. Basically you have just a few wash options. For the money this thing is crazy limited. Forget the gimmicky AI, and return some basic functionality. Also, the first time I used it, the water didn’t stop filling. It flooded the house, and there was no way I could make it drain out the grossly overfilled tub.

The washer is beautiful and it works flawlessly. I purchased the washer 5 days ago and also bought and installed the matching dryer yesterday. They are both very quiet and do not vibrate hardly at all. I love the features and the capacity. I also love how short the cycle times are compared to previous models. One small note I would like to say, I use distilled vinegar as my fabric softener. If you fill the softener dispenser with vinegar as you would the Detergent dispenser, all the softener will slowly leak into the drum within about 24 hours. That's no big deal to me though. I understand that isn't how it was intended to be used. While I can't speak on the reliability since I haven't even had them for a week, I can say the quality of the machines have gone up. I had a WM9000HWA before this washer and it was a great washer but it would vibrate significantly more and make much more noise in the spin than this one does. The old washer would take about 2 hours and some change for a full load while this machine takes a little over an hour which I love! Highly recommend! They're pricey but worth it!

Would recommend to others looking for a quality regardless of price range . Clothes smell clean and fresh. Useful technology features for customizing washes! I highly recommend. Would recommend double checking with a plumbing professional to ensure all necessary parts were orders sometimes Best but cart doesn’t drop in all of necessary plumbing parts needed to install.

The app is pretty bad experience. For example even if the washer is on and running a cycle, I can’t download preset settings (must be on but not running a cycle). The washer and app both show names but there isn’t any reference to what they are (what is Cycle Optimization?). Lastly, the e dispense is physically working yet the app says that it isn’t, but shows an image that seems like it’s going to show me the levels as they go down, but it doesn’t, yet again all the controls in ezdispense are disabled if the washer is off, or on and running a cycle. As for the washer, very large capacity, well thought out, AI is confusing. I do like the ezDispense and ability to turn off when I do wool/down. Also presets urge me to wash things I’ve never washed before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial comments... Washer seems to work fine. I like the ezDispense of detergent. My problem is I have to set the modifiers with each new load. For instance, we use cold (tap cold) temperature and max spin speed on 99% of our loads. I do this to save energy and drying time. But trying to save those settings to (for example) Normal or AI cycle does not work. I chatted with LG support several times and that type of customizing is not possible. Very disappointing as it would seem to be an obvious option to include.

There is a foul odor from this brand new washer drum that really bothers my husband and me. We've never had a washer that required the door to be left opened overnight or a long period of time after washing a load of clothes. We've purchased all new required inlet and outlet connectors and the certified professional installers installed them just a few weeks ago. There is no spin cycle only which is very important/useful. Also, error code appeared/interrupted delicate cycle but it's not found in any manual.

In the new house we have had nothing but trouble with it. The new house has a arc breaker and it pops all the time. Electrician has been over 3 times and replaced it. He told me it's because when covid happened companies started using old parts or reusable parts to build these. Very very very unhappy about all this
