This machine exceeded my expectations! My clothes are cleaner than ever and the laundry is done sooner. I hear nothing during wash cycles and only a minor hum during its fastest spin cycle. I love the detergent auto dispenser! The app and status notifications are also useful. The black steel is stunning. Just wish it provided adjustability over the interior light; it turns off while unloading. Leaving the door open so the seal dries is necessary, but unsightly for such a handsome appliance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initial comments... Washer seems to work fine. I like the ezDispense of detergent. My problem is I have to set the modifiers with each new load. For instance, we use cold (tap cold) temperature and max spin speed on 99% of our loads. I do this to save energy and drying time. But trying to save those settings to (for example) Normal or AI cycle does not work. I chatted with LG support several times and that type of customizing is not possible. Very disappointing as it would seem to be an obvious option to include.

I bought this washer almost one year ago. I love the look and layout. Very easy to use and also have used the app with no issues. This washer was actually not what I was looking for, but got took in by my salesman. I was specifically looking for something that had a soak option, because I have a dog and like to use this to get the worst pet smells out. I have tried all settings to try and get these smells out, but the only way it works is if I do a pre soak in my tub and then put it through the wash. I should have returned but I thought maybe there was a way around this and also I live a hour away from the store. Also I am not happy about the water level. I don't like the weighing idea as I am positive some of my clothes don't even get wet in some spots. Like I can visually see dry spots on clothing. Would I purchase this again now, knowing how it performs or recommend to someone, the answer is no. absolutely not.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second LG washer and it works tremendously well! The one caveat is that you have to use the ThinQ app to get full functionaility. Honestly, the UI of the washer is much more complicated compared to the previous generation. I don't mind using the app, but I can see it being a dealbreaker for someone who isn't tech-savvy. I love the recent update that gives you an estimate for cycle duration based on the load. One difference compared to my last washer (4.5cu ft) is it doesn't seem stressed out during the spin cycle, even when full of towels.

There is a foul odor from this brand new washer drum that really bothers my husband and me. We've never had a washer that required the door to be left opened overnight or a long period of time after washing a load of clothes. We've purchased all new required inlet and outlet connectors and the certified professional installers installed them just a few weeks ago. There is no spin cycle only which is very important/useful. Also, error code appeared/interrupted delicate cycle but it's not found in any manual.

The app is pretty bad experience. For example even if the washer is on and running a cycle, I can’t download preset settings (must be on but not running a cycle). The washer and app both show names but there isn’t any reference to what they are (what is Cycle Optimization?). Lastly, the e dispense is physically working yet the app says that it isn’t, but shows an image that seems like it’s going to show me the levels as they go down, but it doesn’t, yet again all the controls in ezdispense are disabled if the washer is off, or on and running a cycle. As for the washer, very large capacity, well thought out, AI is confusing. I do like the ezDispense and ability to turn off when I do wool/down. Also presets urge me to wash things I’ve never washed before.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a difference from my last LG Washer! The AI is fantastic. I can also get a notice on my iPhone when the wash is done. I have never done a wash in 30 minutes, but this machine can do just that. As a matter of fact, all my appliances are LG. Aside from my washer/dryer, My Dishwasher, Refrigerator and my Microwave are all LG!

We bought this set as our dryer went out and decided to just get a new set. I must say I'm very impressed so far. Everything has worked flawlessly and so many useful functions. The set is very stable and super quiet. It cleans astoundingly well and is very stable
