After owning an LG washer and dryer for 17 years, it was time for a new set. We love our new LG washer and dryer! The new set has additional settings that we really appreciate. The updated models are very sleek and quite efficient. LG is the way to go! They last longer than any other washer and dryer we have ever owned.

We bought the WN6500 washer and DLEX 6500B dryer. to replace our prior LG washer and dryer that lasted 16 years. We like the ease of use, the multiple cycle choices, and the large capacity (we can wash a king size comforter, and even king size pillows without problems.

This is my first LG product, it came highly recommended and I h r been very pleased with it. Love the settings, lots of choices for different laundry needs. And I reallly like the ThinQ app for my phone, thought it might be gimmicky but it is perfect!!!

I had my ducts cleaned and fully checked just prior to installation but every dryer load I have run since it got installed says 80% duct blockage??? Someone is scheduled to come check it out this week. Maybe the dryer vent dims bent too much because it’s stacked? Or maybe sitting too far from the duct wall?? However, I love it otherwise- getting stuff super clean and it doesn’t take forever and a day to wash like so many newer machines do. It’s way bigger than I imagined, washed a blanket today by itself and it barely took up any room in the drum. The washer also wrings stuff super dry so way less dryer time involved. If I had it to do over, though, I would put them on pedestals instead of stacking because I’ve got bad knees and the washer front loader is down so low, while the drum is so deep, and when it’s finished, the load of laundry ends up in the very back of it, involving much stooping and reaching for me- so, the space I saved by stacking wasn’t really worth the hassle. I hope they can fix the duct message. If so, I would definitely raise my review. This set has a ton of electronic features I never thought I would use, but I do! I don’t need the Bluetooth controls though. The machines give an abundance of load selections without going to the app.

We purchased this to replace an older LG washer and dryer that was in the home we purchased about 3 years ago. The older combo unit was from 2017. We originally were searching for another brand, due to the common problem with front load washers, which is the tub evacuation pump failure. Also add the annoyance of having to open the bottom of the washer to drain the dirt trap every month as suggested. After reading reviews of other brands, we decided to go with the brand we know best, so we're aware of the problems that could arise and wouldn't have to experience a new set of concerns with the other washer and dryer units. This new washer is extremely quiet, and more efficient in the way it cleans clothes. After about 20 loads or so, it called for a drum cleaning, which was a nice feature. Hopefully a preventative step in longevity. The fit and finish is nice, extremely well put together and hopefully it will give us years of trouble free use...fingers crossed. With all appliances, you get what you pay for and the price group for this particular washer, with the features offered was fair. It wasn't the cheapest, wasn't the most expensive, but I felt the updated features offered value over the competition. Overall we're happy with the purchase and look forward to adding more LG products in our home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the washer and the features. It's very quiet and the tub is huuuge, can easily wash a king size blanket with room to spare. It has a load of presets and then some you can add from the LG ThinQ app. One feature missing I'd love to see is to be able to save a custom cycle. Our most routine wash I always select the preset closest to what I need then select the additional options. It would be nice to be able to save that as a custom preset like my old LG was able to.

This washer washes very well and is so quiet. It uses hardly any water but gets everything clean. It has so many options for different clothing and I love that it has a coldwater setting as I normally use Tide ColdWater detergent. It is very easy to use and change options. I have other LG appliances and really like the ThinQ app as I can keep track of everything on my phone and get notified when the wash is complete. I hadn't planned to buy black but picked this washer for its features and the color is just beautiful. Would highly recommend.

We requested replacement since after unboxing there was damage to the front in that there was a dent. So we quickly returned and received replacement same day. Love the functions, the app and AI intelligence. Also love the color which appears more of a deep charcoal grey. Love everything about it. We have the matching dryer too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer with matching dryer about a month ago and so far they are working well. The only caviats are the washer door must stay open after a wash to allow it to dry and air out inside, otherwise the inside will start to mildew because the door seal is very good. Also, the touch screen has to be reset by unplugging the machine otherwise it does not register touching it.
