We requested replacement since after unboxing there was damage to the front in that there was a dent. So we quickly returned and received replacement same day. Love the functions, the app and AI intelligence. Also love the color which appears more of a deep charcoal grey. Love everything about it. We have the matching dryer too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our new front-loading LG washing/drying machines set for about a month, now, after our very old dryer finally kicked the bucket. In mid-cycle, of course. We are so thrilled with how easy and efficient and QUIET both of these machines have been. The selection of setting, options per the contents of each load, is so helpful, and has allowed us to confidently wash items like king bed size comforters at home rather than needing to take them to cleaners. The number of loads we now need to run have been cut in half. Finally, the phone app, which at first seemed kinda silly, is actually super practical. In addition to what’s probably supper obvious - being able to track timing for individual loads in both machines, it reminds us when to clean filters, multiple reminders that the load in the wash needs to move to the dryer to avoid getting moldy, and it tracks overall activity to give us a sense of exactly how long we should expect a certain type of load will complete. Oh, and the washer uses less detergent per load! Overall, this was an outstanding purchase, one month in.

I had my ducts cleaned and fully checked just prior to installation but every dryer load I have run since it got installed says 80% duct blockage??? Someone is scheduled to come check it out this week. Maybe the dryer vent dims bent too much because it’s stacked? Or maybe sitting too far from the duct wall?? However, I love it otherwise- getting stuff super clean and it doesn’t take forever and a day to wash like so many newer machines do. It’s way bigger than I imagined, washed a blanket today by itself and it barely took up any room in the drum. The washer also wrings stuff super dry so way less dryer time involved. If I had it to do over, though, I would put them on pedestals instead of stacking because I’ve got bad knees and the washer front loader is down so low, while the drum is so deep, and when it’s finished, the load of laundry ends up in the very back of it, involving much stooping and reaching for me- so, the space I saved by stacking wasn’t really worth the hassle. I hope they can fix the duct message. If so, I would definitely raise my review. This set has a ton of electronic features I never thought I would use, but I do! I don’t need the Bluetooth controls though. The machines give an abundance of load selections without going to the app.

So far, excellent for both washer and dryer. I love the pedestal, quiet, and great reminders and options through the app. Don't use pods, scent boosters, or softeners - they'll mess up your machines in the long term. It's a marketing strategy companies use, so you'll have to replace your appliances sooner. Just use liquid detergent. Also, these machines are good enough they don't need those things.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my washer for 6 months and I love all the different wash cycles available. I waited 4 months to download the app and wish I had done it sooner. Using the app doubled the number of cycles on my machine. I didn't realize I had to use the app to access all the features. Not thrilled with that though. The clothes come out so much drier so it takes less time to dry them and less time overall for doing laundry. We just got the matching dryer and are waiting to get it converted to propane and getting it installed.

purchased about 3 weeks ago. Washer immediately tripped gfic plug in my laundry room. Gfci plugs are nationally required by code in the US and it is well commented on that these washers trip gfci plugs. I don’t see anywhere where LG has addressed this problem. This is installed in a brand new home with 400 amp service. Had LG certified tech out and he said we need a “higher rated gfci” but wasn’t clear what that meant. The washer draws ~10amps and it’s plugged into a 20amp circuit. Washer itself seemingly is good but what good is it if it stops running within the first 30 seconds.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer with matching dryer about a month ago and so far they are working well. The only caviats are the washer door must stay open after a wash to allow it to dry and air out inside, otherwise the inside will start to mildew because the door seal is very good. Also, the touch screen has to be reset by unplugging the machine otherwise it does not register touching it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the washer and the features. It's very quiet and the tub is huuuge, can easily wash a king size blanket with room to spare. It has a load of presets and then some you can add from the LG ThinQ app. One feature missing I'd love to see is to be able to save a custom cycle. Our most routine wash I always select the preset closest to what I need then select the additional options. It would be nice to be able to save that as a custom preset like my old LG was able to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only had this product for 2 weeks already, everything seems fine now. Machine runs smooth and quiet. I like the functions built into the machine. I hope the electronics and mechanical mechanisms last a long while for the life and use of the machine. I hope if machine does need repair, it will not be a hassle to get machine serviced and it can get fixed right away, because machine is essential to have working all the time. I have machine warranty registered and also warranted for services a extra 5 years in needed.

I'm giving the washer five stars because of its performance. It really does an excellent job. However, I would like to take 1/2 star away if I could for the fact that the screen display is so dim as to be almost unusable. That seems like a serious oversite and something that would be extremely easy to address and fix.
