Since this unit replaced a 21-year old unit, I think it's a bit premature to rave. Time will tell. Check back later. I think the unit is, not quite beautiful, but certainly good to look at (2 circles on a white field) and outwardly well designed. The controls are well positioned and for the most part clear in their iconography. On-off, start-stop, dry this way or that way. Same for the washer. I avoided the wifi connection after it failed to initialize properly the first time; I have no need to check the wash while in the car. The clothes are very clean. I believe I save lots of water and soap, in part owing to the slightly tipped wash tub. The instructions of wipe downs and cleaning the dryer filter are very important since most modern machines have the propensity to smell if not properly aired. I think too many of us think no maintenance is a fine paradigm. Anyway, it is a great unit that attends to our needs in our 2-person household. Recommended.

It can accommodate much larger loads than my previous stacked units and I appreciate the automated features (pre-selected temp/spin, etc)

At first a little clumsy to figure out how to use but after first load pretty intuitive. Only semi complicated thing was attaching it to wifi.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my LG washer and dryer tower for 2-3 months now and it’s nicknamed “the big eye,” by my grand kiddos. I have had several LG TV’s so I thought I would stay loyal with the LG brand. My clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. The tower’s capacity is large and fits a lot of clothes or towels, and blankets in them. It’s aesthetically beautiful. The control panels are totally easy to use. I didn’t even have to read the instructions. I watch my grandkids and I’m constantly doing laundry. At least 2 loads daily so the tower has taken a beating and still works wonderfully. The door gets slammed into the wall and not a dent on the door. Like my LG TV’s, this washer and dryer are an outstanding product. I’ve included a photo. I haven’t wiped it down since I bought it and it looks great.

My wash tower fits into my former laundry station leaving me much more usable space. The washer and dryer are quiet and energy efficient. My LG kitchen package was purchased 15 years ago and I have praised LG to all of my family and friends over the years. When I was looking to replace my old washer and dryer, there were cheaper brands available, but I was determined that LG was the only brand I would purchase. Last year I needed to replace my old TV; and of course, it is an LG!

I am enjoying this but am taking a bit of time getting used to. Like why isn't there a 'touch up' options, just to dry for a few minutes? Why doesn't light turn on every time you open the door? I'm sure in time I will get used to it. Never had a new set for myself!!!

We replaced our 20+ year old stackable washer and dryer. This was the only unit that stacked and had the controle for both in the center and not on the top of each unit. Plus the unit controls are in the center and not on the top of each unit. Other stackable have the controls on the dryer require a ladder to use the dryer when the units are stach=ked. In addtion, the unit is quiet and works well.

It does an great job washing and drying. Its smart and hooks up to my phone. Lets me know when loads are done and allows you to start loads remotely. When done with washer it will automatically put dryer on settings to match. I've named her Betty because something this beautiful needs a name. It also came with a 10yr warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer dryer stackable is nicely designed. The center menus are accessed easily. The aesthetics of this machine are clean and I like the color (dark grey). The cubic size for both are perfect for the two of us. I feel like it cleans better than my old setup. There's only one drawback at this moment. The instructions say to wipe down the washer after use...and to leave the door open for 24 hours to avoid mold/mildew. There are many folds in the rubber where water can/does get trapped. We do wipe it down but, it's a bit of a hassle. We are complying with the suggestions and additionally wiping down the interior with distilled vinegar once a week to boot. I saw this on YouTube and feel it's a good idea. We've had ours for 4 weeks and the mildew smell is already present. I think it's a design flaw personally. Anyways, doing these three things to prevent mold is a pain and I never had to do this with my old machine. Hopefully, we don't end up with black mold inside despite our vigilance.
