The remote that came with the TV doesn't have the microphone feature and the TV won't except my Google remote so I can't program it to the TV set . I've had other people try to program it but no one has been able to so far. This was my first Samsung TV and probably my last. I gave it a 1 rating because you didn't offer anything lower

It also is hard to keep going in and going back to the previous app you were streaming. It is not user friendly. For the amount of money you would think it was better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tv. Brightness and Picture are excellent. Details are crisp and so is sound quality. The Contrast and Smoothess are best when you set it in Dynamic. I'm not all that familiar with upscaling and refresh but the overall picture is phenomenal

I should have learned my lesson, after my first 55" Samsung TV, after just a year and a half of having it, all of a sudden, while watching it it went blank and completely stopped working. I went ahead and bought a 50" one and NOW this one I'm also having problems with. When I turn it off, it comes back on after 1 1/2 minutes! I'm a senior and I just can't afford to buy another TV!

I've owned Samsung TVs before, and one of the biggest reasons I keep coming back to Samsung is the overall quality, picture clarity, and how incredibly easy they are to use. Samsung TVs have always been my first choice, and this one definitely does not disappoint. The picture on the U8000FD is absolutely fantastic. The clarity and sharpness are what really stand out to me. Everything looks clean, detailed, and realistic, whether I'm watching regular TV, movies, sports, or streaming content. The colors look great without being overdone, and the picture has a really nice level of detail that makes watching something feel much more enjoyable. Another thing I really like is how easy Samsung makes everything. Setup was simple, and navigating through the menus and apps is straightforward. You don't need to spend hours trying to figure out where everything is. Once it's connected, getting to your favorite streaming apps and content is quick and easy. I also really like the screen mirroring feature. Being able to mirror your phone or another compatible device directly onto the TV is extremely convenient. It's one of those features that you might not think you'll use all the time, but once you have it, you find yourself using it more than expected. I've always recommended Samsung TVs to my friends and family, and I will continue to do so. In my experience, Samsung makes TVs that are dependable, easy to set up, easy to navigate, and built to last. I honestly feel like a Samsung TV can last a lifetime when it's taken care of properly. For the price, picture quality, chrispness on the screen, energy efficiennt, manyfeatures + smarttv, and ease of use, I think the Samsung U8000FD is an excellent TV. If someone asked me what TV I would recommend, Samsung would be one of the first brands I mention. I'm very happy with this TV and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a great-looking, easy-to-use television.
