Technology and quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of my TV are Samsung . Never had an issue with them since I owned them. Yes, we had couple failures in the past, but they were human errors. The technology, the quality is there. Viewing experience awesome.
Love Samsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it, color, resolution, stable connection, adaptive contrast I like a lot and not to mention the brightness, it refreshes excellent (never freezes) and the connection with my Samsung devices (now s26 ultra) is super fast and stable. Love all Samsung devices.
Not working
Lately, I haven't been able to watch it. I'll select a show to watch, it will start working on starting the show with the little circle spinning, then kicks me off and it returns to the previous channel I was watching in like netflix, etc. I haven't been able to watch Samsung tv in about 2 weeks
Hi CLT67, If your U8000F TV freezes or becomes unresponsive: 1. Cold boot – Hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. 2. Update firmware – Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 3. Run Device Care – Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care If issues continue, contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). Great features and colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV has been awesome since the day I bought it. It's held up incredibly well and still works Iike new. The picture, color and resolution are stunning. The only thing I never cared for was the sound. It's very low and there's zero bass whatsoever. I bought a Samsung soundbar to fix that issue though. Other than that great TV and definitely got my money's worth out of it.
New tv
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a difficult time setting up my t v. overall I am pleased with my tv. However, I do not like the little woman that talks so much! There are I am sure programs that I have not been able to use. I find that I mainly watch NETFLEX AND PRIME. I will look into other channels I just enjoy watching those two stations. Overall I like my tv I just found it very difficult to set up. My son had to help me actually set it up. I just don’t “play around” with my options
Unhappy with volume and color
I am happy with the size of the TV. Unfortunately, the color is not the same on all stations. Also the volume Is very low and I have to consistently have it in the 40 to 50 range in order to even hear the TV. I was happy with the price of the TV however I expected more from the Samsung unit
Hi Judi, Thank you for purchasing Samsung’s U8000F TV and for sharing your feedback regarding low volume. To start, we recommend making sure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates can include improvements to sound performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update If volume levels still seem too low, you can improve sound performance by adjusting a few key settings: Sound Mode: Navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode • Standard: Balanced for everyday viewing • Optimized: Enhances effects and creates a more spacious sound • Amplify: Boosts mid and high tones, especially helpful if dialogue is difficult to hear Auto Volume: This feature helps maintain consistent volume levels across content and input sources. Turn it on under: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On You can also explore Expert Settings to fine-tune sound output with adjustments for Balance, Equalizer, and more. If you’re considering enhancing your setup, Samsung’s Q- and S-Series Soundbars feature Q-Symphony, which syncs your TV and soundbar speakers for a fuller, more immersive sound experience. For personalized support with these settings or selecting a soundbar to complement your setup, contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun) or use LiveChat via the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor
My experience, just so-so
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really nice picture and easy setup. But, the volume of commercials increases to an unbearable degree on some channels and there seems to be an over abundance of incidents of program buffering or freezing
Hi, Thank you for sharing your experience with volume fluctuations on your Samsung U8000FD TV. Sudden changes in volume can often be related to audio settings or content differences between sources or apps. Please try the following adjustments to help stabilize your TV's audio: 1. Enable Auto Volume. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. This feature helps maintain a consistent volume level when switching channels or apps. 2. Change 3. . Try a different sound mode to see if one offers a more stable output: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode (We recommend Standard or Amplify for more even performance.) 4. Check External Devices. If you're using a soundbar, receiver, or other audio device, check that its volume leveling or dynamic range settings aren’t interfering with the TV’s audio. 5. Update Firmware. Ensure your TV is running the latest software, as updates may include audio improvements: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now If the issue persists after these steps, please don’t hesitate to reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor
Good choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feeling like at the theater with vibrant colors and resolution. It’s been a great purchase, technically well structured and dependable, I recommend this TV if you love quality viewing and entertainment at home.
Disappointed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Longtime Samsung supporter have purchased nothing but Samsung throughout the years. This particular device has really poor resolution and seems really dark to the point of a blackout screen. I have adjusted to different modes but same result. Compared to the other 2 Samsung TV I currently have this one is is disappointing.
Hi Lonnie, Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung U8000F TV. If the picture appears unclear, dull, or lacks definition, there are several settings you can adjust to improve clarity and overall image quality. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, and review these key settings: Picture Clarity Settings: While originally intended for motion handling, these can also impact overall clarity • Off: Disables motion enhancements • Auto: Automatically adjusts based on content • Custom: Lets you fine-tune: o Judder Reduction – Helps smooth out uneven motion o LED Clear Motion – Boosts sharpness in fast-moving content o Noise Reduction – Reduces distortion and enhances detail in lower-resolution sources Core Picture Settings • Brightness – Controls overall screen brightness • Contrast – Enhances the difference between bright and dark areas • Sharpness – Adjusts edge definition; closer to 20 increases detail • Color – Enhances depth and intensity of colors And don’t forget to check for the latest firmware, which may improve performance: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now These adjustments can make a noticeable difference in overall clarity. Issues may cause us to switch away from Samsung
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I may switch away from Samsung although I have purchased all my TVs and computer screens Samsung. Problem is the remote is too small and touchy, the mute same button as up/down volume is a bad choice, keep muting when only want to change volume. The remote only for on/off function some computer screens aggravating if using a PC. The menu on TV is frustrating to use and navigate. I can only say that someone over thought these products. Changing TV input frustrating to navigate to. Think Roku, keep it simple and adjust the remote so that each time you pick it up or put it down the buttons are not pressed and TV mute or changes. That NEVER happens with Roku type remote or the larger 3rd party remotes.
Hi BobW, Thank you for sharing your experience. Samsung remotes are designed to offer convenient control, but we understand if you’d prefer to use a universal remote. Many third-party remotes work well with Samsung TVs, though setup steps may vary by brand and model. To get started, we recommend checking the manufacturer’s instructions for programming codes and pairing methods. If you run into any trouble or have compatibility questions, Samsung Support is happy to help. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun).
