Easy set up, easy to use

The printing quality on this was horrible. I have never used a printer this bad. Even after changing setting to Best and having it do a Head Cleaning, the quality was bad. I compared the print out of a PowerPoint from this printer to my old HP printer, and I never once had my old HP give me quality like this unless it was running out of ink, not brand new printing like this. I would attach a photo, but it's not letting me.

I bought this printer after purchasing 2 separate HP orders. Both HP printers wouldn't stay connected to my wifi and the second one I bought did nothing but paper jams. So I bought this Epson printer and couldn't be happier. Best printer I've bought in a while. We'll 2nd best. I use to have an Epson that printed directly to CD's, boy I miss that printer.

Find another model! This is the 2nd Epson I've owned, and the first one was great. This one gets paper jams every single time I print. I even returned it and got a replacement bc I thought it was just a glitch when I originally purchased it, but nope. This one has the same exact problem, and I didn't realize until we were past the return window. We spent a lot of money for something that gives us problems with every use, I'm so disappointed in this purchase. I've lost so much paper and ink, not to mention time, due to this thing acting up. I will seriously rethink EVER buying another Epson after this experience. So frustrating.

I had high hopes for this printer and was really looking forward to the eco tank feature. 1. You can't queue more than one job at a time. 2. Almost every print job cancels itself for no reason. 3. It won't restart OR cancel unless you run the Printer Connection Checker. This is extremely difficult when printing large or 2 sided documents; you have to count the pages that printed to be able to queue again the unprinted pages. 4. I printed pictures that had a 1" band of purple ink at the bottom.

I bought this ET-3943 to replace a HP printer and hopefully save some ink costs. Generally it works OK but I can not print bank statements or e- transfer records. (Error message to check printer). I have Trend Micro protection and use Google Chrome. If I disconnect Trend Micro Pay guard the ET-3943 will print bank statements. With the Trend Micro Pay guard on ET-3943 will not print bank statements but the HP will without problem. Trend Micro support says to add the epson driver to their exception list but can not find it Can you tell me how to make this printer print bank statements?

Happy overall with Epson ink tank printers. My ET-4850 that I owned for little over 3years was finally giving me problems with the WiFi card. Sam's Club warrantied it out and I got the ET-3943. Down grade only because there is no Fax in the new unit, didn't use it any way. Highly recommend the tank printers. Set up is super easy with total time is about 20-25min with loading the ink, calibration and update. The little screen is not a touch screen but you have to use the arrows and ok buttons. Believe it's quieter than the old ET-4850. A plus that I didn't like on old machine you had to manually pull out the paper catch tray. This ET-3943 the catch tray automatically extends out to catch your prints instead of all the papers falling on the ground. Has a flat scanner and a believe 50 page auto feed on top that folds back shut when not in use. So some plus's over the negative. The ink will easily last 2years of printing, I print about 5-10 pages every day for work at home. I purchased this with today 12/26 last day of the sale with $100 off. You won't be disappointed. I'm using this model first time today and really review is of the ET-4850. Btw both units are the same size. Buy it!!

It is unusual for me to review a product. I have this product in my office. I have promoted Epson because of the ink and how I thought it would function. That was until I had it to use in my office. It is very difficult to learn to use. The worst part is the ADF. The absolute worst because 99% of the time the pages get caught and you have to pull them out. Also, it gets hung up scanning the glass and will not go to the ADF to see if there are papers. You have to restart the process every time to use the multiple paper scanner, ADF. I wish I had encouraged a purchase of another printer.

Awesome printer. Finally done with HP. Works right out of the box. It's a quick initialization process that took about 10 minutes and boom it was ready. Awesome quality and I love the bottles of ink instead of cartridges down with HP.
