Customer reviews for LG 86" Class UA7700 Series 4K UHD Smart TV forMember photos
Fantastic value!
I was in the club intending on getting a smaller TV but saw this was on sale and decided to go for it! I am so glad I did, its fantastic! Its huge! A little bigger than expected, but boy is it awesome! The picture is beautiful! I highly recommend. I have owned a few other LGs and they have all been great. Not a fan of the software, but we just use Roku so its a non-issue for us.
Do Not Buy, Quality and durability is not there
High expectations from what I thought was a company based on Quality. This tv is made very poorly. The picture Quality is less than the cheaper off brand name products you can purchase. Sound is also inferior. You'll want a good sound bar for this. The AI stuff it mentions, is nothing but hype for the future, doesn't do anything for this tv. I purchased this in February of 2025 and knowing I would be moving from Detroit, Michigan to Fort Wayne, Indiana at some point in time, I made sure to keep all the packaging for safe transport to our new home. Tv was working when unplugged and repacked back into original box with all the protective Styrofoam and taped up. we securely strapped it to side of the U-Haul and placed a mattress up against it to ensure its safe travel. When we get it home and unpack and carefully placed back on entertainment center and then plugged it in, we were instantly met with nothing but random colors and lines all throughout the tv. No picture whatsoever. After unplugging and plugging back in again, still the same result. The TV was never dropped nor hit with any type of object. I scheduled a repairman to come out under the 3 year warranty this tv has(which I find out, really means nothing). The repairman arrives and takes the tv apart. He finds the inner screen to have a crack in it. However he states that he sees no evidence of damage anywhere on the outside of the tv to show that we damaged the unit. He sends several pictures to LG to show his findings. Again, no evidence anywhere of signs of damage by us. LG does not stand behind the quality of their product. Even though no evidence was found of damage by us, we were still told it had to be damaged by us and that this tv I've had less than 1 year, cannot be fixed and I'm basically out of luck. I had high hopes of building a lasting relationship with LG and their products. Unfortunately, that has now been tarnished. Do not buy this TV, it is made poorly and is not able to withstand travel apparently. It could potentially get damaged from the trip home from the store you purchase it from. It's that cheaply made. Extremely disappointed.
Hi, Chad. Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed experience with your LG TV (86UA7700PUA) model. We understand the importance of having a TV that delivers the quality, durability, and reliability you expect, especially after taking careful steps to transport and set it up safely in your new home.

One helpful step you can try—if the unit is still in your possession—is performing a Picture Test by going to Settings > All Settings > Support > Picture Test. This can help determine whether the issue is related to the panel or the internal processing.
