But I still have to clean the water pitcher weekly, it gets kind of slimy by the seventh day. The water flow is good. I wouldn't say it's very easy to install it but that's not their fault, it's the way the refrigerator is built. The filter lasts 6 months but the price is too high in my opinion. It's authentic, there are instructions in the box on how to check it.

They don't fit quite right or the don't really actually filter the water and they have to be replaced often. I gave up and bought the proper one even though is a bit costly it's worth it. Water stayed filtered for up to 6 months and taste great. I don't have to replace it often and it comes in a 2pk, so I'm set for the year.
