I've had my samsung bespoke for a few years.  I get the water filters automatically sent.  I was worried when I first got the fridge bc of so many complaints about the water filter. I have never, ever had a problem installing the filter. The water always tastes great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This filter was exactly what I needed for my refrigerator. It fit perfectly and was very easy to install. Water tastes clean and fresh. I know there is a ton of copies out there, but I always feel it is a safe bet going with the original from the manufacturer. No complaints so far, and none to be expected.

PRO TIP: Make sure that you turn off your water line so that you have a clean installation and avoid any mess. Leaving water behind in the filter area will cause mold to grow and you will be very unhappy the next time you have to replace your filter.

Exactly What I Needed

Good filter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does filter the water well, I noticed that when our water is kind of brown at times. But I still have to clean the water pitcher weekly, it gets kind of slimy by the seventh day. The water flow is good. I wouldn't say it's very easy to install it but that's not their fault, it's the way the refrigerator is built. The filter lasts 6 months but the price is too high in my opinion. It's authentic, there are instructions in the box on how to check it.

This filter will not work with the Bespoke french door fridge. EVERY time I've replaced it, the filter housing breaks. I'm awaiting the cost and service appointment since it is now outside the one year warrant. I cannot believe Samsung is not standing behind this awful product. User beware. If you have a Bespoke french door fridge with beverage center, you're likely to break your fridge replacing with the EXACT same filter.

Can Samsung really not come up with better packaging??  My teenage boy got a cut a few weeks ago trying to open it. I am surprised nobody has sued yet.

Terrible packaging

I compared tap water and filtered water using a TDS meter. Tap water measured 122 ppm and filtered water 130 ppm. Based on these results, I couldn't see any improvement with the filter, since the mineral levels were basically the same.

Samsung Water Filter Test — No Real Change

The website says this is the one for an RS25H5111**. I have an RS25H5111SR. It doesn't fit. This filter is square and the slot in mine is round. This needs to be corrected.

Poor compatibility guide

The packing is absolutely awful and can cut you. Fit is ok . Need to filter a gallon before it's any good
