DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
I bought this griddle and return the next day. It would not heat enough to season with a slight breeze blowing, because it has to much ventilation. Anyone who wants to cook on, anything but a calm day will have issues. Spend the money and get a Camp Chef or a Blackstone
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. It sounds like the flow limiting device in the regulator has been activated. Def DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR NATURAL GAS CONVERSION
The build process of the grill itself is pretty painless and easy. No problem for tanks. However, if you're converting to a natural gas line, definitely DO NOT buy this product. It's one of the most poorly engineered designs I've ever encountered and honestly, dangerous bc it's so hard to connect. The copper line coming from the burner is too short, so sits right in the middle of nowhere where its near impossible to access. And the natural gas hose can barely fit. One of the most frustrating things I've ever done and 4 hours later am not done. Ridiculous.
Order two! One dented by contol knobs
Bought two of these about a month ago, one for us and the other for my son. Both delivered. Put ours together fine. Son finally got a day off to get his put together and opened box and several dents near control knobs. Customers service hard to understand and not very helpful. There only solution recommended by them was a refund. Asked for replacement part, which is unknown. Was told we would get an email. My son is not happy

Horrid quality and even worse customer care.
We bought this product a few months ago and only used it four times. We followed all of the instructions verbatim to "season", protect it, we kept it fully covered when not in use, and followed all of the cleaning instructions to a "T" after using it. The griddle was already rusting tons after only four uses. We tried to call the manufacturer to get a replacement griddle for it. They said the warranty does not cover that portion of the grill, even though it was only purchased 60 days earlier. We were incredulous! Sam's doesn't stand by this product and I can see why. It is a piece of trash and I was glad to return it. We will not buy another Member's Mark grill. Ryan S.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. The appearance of rust spots on the griddle top, is indication that the protective seasoning has worn off and must be repeated. Unfortunately, seasoning is NOT a single application. Seasoning your griddle top is required before and after EVERY cook. Seasoning your griddle top improves the cooking performance, creates a non-stick surface, prevents damage, and deterioration due to moisture, and extends the life of your griddle. Good news is that the griddle top can be fully restored! Begin by dampening the surface with water. With protective gloves and steel wool, scrub the areas of concern until the rust has been lifted from the surface. Rinse the surface thoroughly. (Be careful not to overflow the grease catch.) Wipe the griddle surface with a cloth to dry, and remove any debris before re-seasoning. For your convenience, I've included a link below to a step-by-step instructional video for how to season your griddle once the rust has been lifted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIDadWvHmk We hope you will consider Member's Mark in the future.
Difficult to put together
I am giving this a three star review, when putting this grill together a lot of the screw holes did not line up correctly. This made putting it together very difficult. I am happy with the grill once it was put together, but the process should have been a lot easier.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. Please note there is an interactive 3D app called BILT that many customers find helpful during assembly, as you can zoom in, turn, pause and rewind the instructions. It is free to download for both iPhone and Android users. Long-term owner, long-term issues
Bought this a little over 3-years ago and honestly, it's just been a headache. I have cooked on griddles for the better part of decade and know how to cook on them and maintain them. The main issue is the griddle top. No matter what, it is constantly rusting. I put about seven rounds of seasoning when I first got it and always season before/after each use - doesn't make a difference. I've used pretty much every oil imaginable - makes no difference. I replaced the griddle top through Member's Mark thinking it was just a poorly casted top. I had to pay for the griddle top out of pocket since I was just out of warranty. No changes in the new griddle top, still rusts and cracks. I've even took my sander and rotary tools and stripped both the old and new griddle top and re-seasoned. That definitely helped, but eventually it rusts. When sanding it down, I found there to be a ton of pitting and divots under the top layer, almost like it was just poorly casted. Pitting definitely prevents a good seasoning application, hence, likely why I get constant rusting. I really want to love this griddle. It's definitely nice looking and the storage drawers and lid make it look and feel premium. I just can't past the poor quality griddle top and I really don't want to spend another $100+ to replace it only to have the same issue again.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We want you to love your griddle. The appearance of rust spots on the griddle top, is indication that the protective seasoning has worn off and must be repeated. Seasoning your griddle top improves the cooking performance, creates a non-stick surface, prevents damage, and deterioration due to moisture, and extends the life of your griddle. Please note that seasoning will need to be done not only on the surface, but on the sides of the griddle top as well. Good news is that the griddle top can be fully restored! Begin by dampening the surface with water. With protective gloves and steel wool, scrub the areas of concern until the rust has been lifted from the surface. (No need to use rotary tools!) Rinse the surface thoroughly. (Be careful not to overflow the grease catch.) Wipe the griddle surface with a cloth to dry, and remove any debris before re-seasoning. For your convenience, I've included a link below to a step-by-step instructional video for how to season your griddle once the rust has been lifted:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MIDadWvHmkIt is important to note that you should never use soap to clean the griddle surface, or it will destroy the seasoning and you will need to start the seasoning process over. Horrible Experience
I am very disappointed in this griddle and customer service experience. I bought this to use for my son's first birthday party and couldn't even use it. The griddle came dented in multiple spots, the lid was discolored, and the griddle itself was discolored. It took 2 weeks to be emailed a response, in which I was told the dented and discolored items could be replaced but to sand the griddle top to get rid of the discoloration. Like I said, I bought this for an event and was unable to use it because of the defective product itself and the lack of customer service. Why would I want to sand a grill top that should come in good condition when I bought it brand new. I bought this because of the positive reviews but I wish I would have went with a higher quality grill.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear about your damaged parts and general dissatisfaction with your customer service experience. All Member’s Mark items carry a 100% member satisfaction guarantee. We are happy to provide any replacement parts as needed for damaged or missing parts. The griddle top is made of hot-rolled steel which requires seasoning before the first use. Discolouring/Rust can happen when seasoning has not been applied, has worn off or when the griddle has been stored for long periods. A well seasoned griddle top has a sheen, oily black/dark coating, evenly across the entire surface.Due to your griddle being brand new and the seasoning having not been applied, this is the reason the customer care professional recommend you to season your griddle top as it will remove any discolouration. In this particular instance, the customer care agent was able to offer you a solution to fix your issue, which does not require a replacement. With continued use of your griddle, the seasoning bond will get better and more non-stick. Applying a coating of oil at the start and finish of each cook, will help to maintain seasoning. If rust does appear on your griddle top, the heavy gauge steel griddle is easily restored and re-seasoned.
warped
Just finished assembly. Go to level griddle top. It's so warped that a level will not sit flat on the cooktop. High point in center. Right front leveling nut is barely in its threads to make any contact with the body. Everything seems of good quality except the actual cooking surface.
