I gave away my blackstone because it just didn’t work very well. I was skeptical of any griddle at that point. I grew up working in my families restaurants and know how to run a griddle, the blackstone wasn’t getting it done. I took a chance on this because of the no hassle return policy. Man I’m glad I did! This griddle gets hot! It works well for everything I’ve thrown at it so far! I even put a couple of pizza stones on top of it and used it as a pizza oven! It worked very well for my home made 16in pizza!

This is a very well made griddle. We are impressed with the quality. It's quite large, which is perfect for cooking large amounts of food quickly. You can also just use a couple of burners for smaller amounts. The lid is a real plus for us as we are able to partially cover the griddle to protect food from tree fallout. (We have a LOT of cedar trees.) Our son was given a brand name griddle (rhymes with flack shone), so we compared it with our MM griddle. Our MM is built as well as, if not better than the name brand and was considerably cheaper. We love it.

I love this griddle the Sam’s Club makes. I have the 4 burner version at work and it works well but this has 5 burners and the heat is more even. The lid is another awesome feature to getting the griddle hot. The griddle is very stable and well built as long as you follow the installation instructions. This is an awesome price compared to the comparable Blackstone.

This is my first gas griddle. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this griddle. Ultimately, I narrowed my search down to this griddle and the Blackstone 36-inch, four burner griddle. They both have very similar features and were identically priced when I purchased mine in August 2024. I got lucky and purchased the Members Mark griddle when it was on sale, so I saved $100 verses the Blackstone. For me, having the 36-inch-wide cooking surface was the way to go. Next, I decided that a hinged cover was a must have feature to protect the griddle surface. The stainless-steel finish verses the all-black finish is a personal choice that does not affect the performance of the griddle, but I prefer the appearance of the stainless-steel and it is easier to clean and maintain. Five burners verses four gives you more control over the temperature of your cooking surface, so in this instance, more is more. The Members Mark griddle is rated at 47,500 BTUs verses 38,000 BTUs for the Blackstone. The Members Mark griddle has an enclosed storage area under the griddle, which is great for storing paper towels and necessary accessories. One thing that I liked about the Blackstone 36-inch griddle is that you have the ability to remove the griddle top without tools from the frame of the griddle, and the legs on the frame of the griddle fold in so that you could technically carry this griddle in the back of your SUV and transport it. It is heavy and somewhat cumbersome, but it can be considered "portable". The Members Mark griddle cooking surface is also very easy to remove from the frame, but because the frame serves as a storage cabinet, you cannot fold it up, so it not quite as "portable" as the Blackstone. Both griddles offer a superb cooking experience. I was able to cook several meals on my friend's Blackstone griddle prior to purchasing the Members Mark griddle. The Blackstone griddle is great and the Members Mark griddle offers an equally great cooking experience with more features that I appreciate at a lower price. If you are the type of person that feels the need to "fit in", then you should probably purchase the Blackstone. However, if you are a self-confidant type of person and prefer quality and value over name-recognition, then the Members Mark griddle definitely is the better and smarter choice.

This griddle is great so far! I’ve used it 3 times. It heats up fast and gets super hot. I like the propane holder inside so the tank isn’t rolling around. I never used a black stone but I don’t feel I’m missing anything by buying the MM brand griddle instead.

We love it! Took me about two hours to assemble the grill, I did it alone, although the directions do say a 2 person job. Directions were easy to follow. One step I missed, was pulling the propane attachment through before attaching the top bar in the front. Maybe this review will save you the hassle of fixing that mistake!

Went together like a dream. Accurate mating of all components, with excellent fasteners, even extras. Haven’t used yet, but expect good operation. I search and reviewed all stores and available griddles and this one had all the features I wanted, from enclosed propane bottle and storage, both shelves fold, and stainless construction, although not 100%. Can’t wait for better weather to try it out.

Grill comes in a large box on a pallet. The delivery guys were great, they put the pallet right where I needed it. My wife and I put this together. It does take two people. There are a lot of parts!!! They are all labeled and packaged systematically. Instructions were clearly written and illustrated. It took about an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble. The griddle plate and base assembly is heavy and requires two people to set in place. I suggest to the manufacturer that the propane flex line be lengthened two inches. The instructions for the spring-loaded door post hinges could be improved. We began using the griddle immediately and are well-pleased with heat distribution and regulation. The surface seasoned well and performed well for breakfast foods, lunch sandwiches and evening meals. Love the magnets on the side countertops and the large lid. Glad it came with a nice cover. We like this thing.

The grill is getting returned the cooking surface bent and I was told to keep using it and it would flatten, it has not , still bent and it a mess because the grease runs to back away from the hole to drain, and you can’t clean it because the dirt runs the wrong way to the back not to drain pan. Customer service would not send a new piece , store manager said I need to return the whole grill, So this is a lot of extra work, not happy.

Order this for my son-in-law the end of October, got a notice November 22 that it had been delivered and refused. Called Sam’s Club where they told me it had been delivered, when I pressed them they finally called the delivery service who said they had refused it because it was already damaged when they received it. They told me they would send a ticket back to the office for a refund. I had to call 3 more times and go through the same thing every time and was told they’d ask for refund. Don’t they make notes??? Finally on the 4th phone call after going through the same thing yet again I demanded they give me to a supervisor. Although he tried not to transfer me I insisted and was eventually transferred to a supervisor who was very apologetic and refunded me immediately. Wow…what a hassel…I will think twice about ordering online again!
