I bought this coffee make last year in November. About 1 week ago, I noticed water all over my counter top. I noticed when I made coffee that water was coming out from the bottom of it. I took it back to Sam's Club yesterday and got my money back. It was working great until this happened.

We saw this at our local club and decided to give it a try. We have both Keurig and a regular 12 cup pot. This was to replace both. As of now we are still using it, but the single cup side is so slow and you have to put water in it everytime you want to make a cup. The regular pot side functions as expected. It does take up less space than 2 units, but it doesn't work better than either one individually.

My second 2-way Flex Brew coffee pot. The first one was purchased in 4/18. The large coffee pot part is fine, but think the single cup pump was acting up. Could have been repaired but we just decided to replace. Love this coffee pot. Comes from home of coffee drinkers.

I enjoyed this coffee maker WHEN IT WAS WORKING! In only a few months I had to discontinue use because the water would drain all over the counter. I had to cut the cord off, take a picture of it, and mail it all in. It was SEVERAL weeks before a replacement arrived. The coffee maker remains stationary, yet in less than 8 months, SAME PROBLEM with the replacement. Water tubing apparently gets disconnected. The warrenty will not extend beyond the 1st appliance 1 year warranty so the only thing Hamilton Beach will do is allow me to purchase directly from them again at half price and pay shipping & handling charges to receive it & that is always more than you anticipated so I will not be buying their product again.

Listen ya'll, a little story time. I bought this coffee maker approximately 4 to 5 years ago. I used it all the time. Then in Dec 2021 a tornado destroyed my townhouse turning it into 1 story ripping through my kitchen first and let me tell ya'll this beast of a coffee maker not only stayed on my coffee bar but it barely even moved due to the grips on the bottom even though everything else in my kitchen was either water damaged or just destroyed. I even had to get rid of the coffee bar it was on because of the water damage. I cleaned the drywall and dust off of the coffee maker and wouldn't you know it, this thing still to this day works perfectly fine with no issues. So if you need a coffee maker let me tell you, this is the one.

I read some pretty positive initial reviews of the system, but that is just it they were initial review which are pretty much useless. I have had this for three months and it was to replace 2 separate units and free up my counter space. I clean the nozzle on a regular basis and have ran decalcifer through it once a week. Even with normal maintenance the kcup side started having issues in 2 months. At first it was only brewing half the cup then you could run it a second time and it would finish, now it heats the water and then goes into protect mode. I am pretty confident that it is the pump because I can pull water through the head but it has failed completely now.

I bought this over a year ago,and, I am very happy with it. Unlike the Keurig carafe, the coffee remains warm over 90 minutes. Also, it makes a full 12 cups of coffee. The single cup side needs to be filled with water for each cup. This is fine as the water is always fresh. The coffee is smooth tasting. I am very satisfied

Wished I had, it would have saved me a lot of aggravation. Bought this pot because I like the concept of the two brewing options. I had an older Keruig maker which after many years finally gave up.Long story short this pot is a diseaster. It does not accommodate all pods, it is very noisy, at times the single service had more coffee grind in my cup than coffee, you have to be very careful to only put in the exact amount of water on the single side because it will run every drop out even if you only want a normal cup no control on amount. You have to add water every time you want a cup, not convenient, the concept is great but really falls really short of what I expected. On the good side the water really gets hot. I am returning this pot as soon as I can. No clock no timer. Only had 4 days.

We love this flex brew coffee maker. Perfect for us when we are both home...we can use the pot rather than waste the k cups. cons single brew is slow...takes about 3 minutes. but you can start it, go start your car come back and it is ready pros the flexibility is great...pot or single serve. I love you can pour the water from your cup rather than guess how big the cup is (because I have under guessed several times, lol)

After my 3rd Keurig died, I really didn't know what to do. I like the convenience of K cups, but also want the option of a programmable coffee maker. I considered the Keurig 2.0, but just didn't want to spend that much. When I found the Hamilton Beach Flex Brew at my local Sam's Club for half the price of the Keurig 2.0 I had to try it. I love measuring the water for a single cup in the size cup or mug I'm using, knowing I will have the exact amount of coffee I expect. (I never could pick the correct cup size on the Keurig. The icons didn't match up with most of what I had on hand, meaning the cup either over filled or filled half way. Too much to deal with in the morning with one eye open!!) The programmable carafe is perfect! I can set it up before I go to bed and make 2-10 cups of coffee. I set it to start about 10 minutes before my alarm so I wake up to fresh, hot coffee. The Flex Brew has a sleek design and fits in just about the footprint of my large Keurig. The enclosed instruction manual is easy to read, and the Flex Brew cleans easily. This is definitely a 10!!!
