This is the second HB 2-in-1 Coffee Maker that i've had. This is a better version from the old one. The program feature is easier to get to work and as long as I remember to get it ready at night and push the program button, there is freshly brewed coffee waiting for me in the a.m. The caraf of the old version always leaked when poured. Had to wipe off the counter every time. The lid on this caraf is a new design that prevents leaking when poured. I have only used the coffee pod, single brew once so far, but it functioned well. I did purchase some little glue-on slider feet that help the unit to slide easier on the counter top, since I have to move it forward to open the lid to fill with water and coffee. I enjoy that it has a smaller footprint than if i had both a coffee maker for a pot and one that is single serve with pods. All in all, I look forward to several years of service from this unit.

I am pleased with the flavor of the brewed coffee. There are improvements that can be made, however I gave it a 5-star as the result of the brewed coffee is rather good for the money. If you are not getting dark coffee despite selecting the bold brew setting, then you are either being too frugal with amount of coffee grounds, are using a blonde coffee not roasted to be brewed dark and/or a combination.

We enjoy havconvenience-for most mornings and single serve convenience anytime. The BOLD brew option is great for us because we like our coffee full-flavored. Coffee is always in and hot. Easy to use with big buttons and large size LED numbers and letters on the command panel. This is my favorite coffee system ever and is sooooo affordable.

Love it so far. We drink at least a half pot, or more, of coffee every morning in our house, so going to a pod system would not be worth it, not to mention pricey. This was the perfect solution, a pot of coffee in the morning and a cup in the afternoon. I can buy ground coffee or pods or put ground coffee in a pod. WE LOVE IT! One tip: Keep the pod needle clean, we found this out when it would not brew a cup one time, we clean it every few cups and haven't had a problem since.

This coffee maker replaced a worn out Mr. Coffee. After ordering I realized it wasn't the one I had seen advertised on T.V. but after using it for a few cups I can say it is 5 star. We tried the single cup feature and it worked perfectly. I would recommend this unit wholeheartedly.

I love this coffee maker....have bought 3 over the past 8 years.....none have broken or given me any problem....just wanted to update...my Christmas present to myself....I then pass my old one onto someone who needs a new coffee maker....keep up the good work...

I love the idea of this type of coffee maker!! I do miss having the water container already filled & ready to go like the Keurig 2.0 allows. I love having a clock, & I plan on using the program soon. Price wasn’t bad for $50. Really like the idea of being able to choose a “bold” cup of coffee in the morning. Definitely kick-starts things!!

I love the fact that you can brew a single cup or a full pot, but I don't like the fact that the coffee warmer only stays on for 2 hours ,then it shuts down and the rest of the coffee gets cold. I also do not like that you cannot fill the water reservoir over a certain amount or it will overflow, already happened to me twice, when making a pot or a single cup of coffee.

Love this coffeemaker - just didn’t have room for two separate appliances so this is a good solution. Read other reviews but so far we’ve had no problems. Bought a rolling tray to place under it just because it was awkward to move back and forth on the counter to get it out from under the cabinets - our old coffeemaker filled from the front and we hadn’t had that issue before - love the single cup feature!

We really like this coffee maker, the option to make one cup or a full pot is really nice. The only thing that would improve it for us, is if you could just use one reservoir and select the size of cup or pot you would like, instead of having to pour either the single cup amount or the pot amount. Not a huge deal breaker though, it is still very convenient.
