We’ve had this coffee maker for a few weeks now and are overall pleased. The pro’s: -Can brew a pot (12 cup) or single cup (from 4-14 oz). -The single cup brewer comes with a small basket to use your own coffee or is k-cup compatible. -Large, digital face. -Programmable. -User friendly The con’s: -Can’t change the length of time carafe warmer stays on (we could with our previous Cuisinart). -No water filter so filtered or distilled water needs to be used if your tap water has a strong taste to it.

I never liked K-cups. I prefer to grind my own beans. My coffee was always weak with the Keurig filters. The Hamilton Beach allows me to brew single cups up to 14 oz of good coffee. Not watered down stiuff. Being able to brew an entire pot is helpful when guests are visiting.

I love this coffeemaker! I was only aware of 1 other coffeemaker that did both carafe & K-Cup brewing, and it was almost $200.00. Then I happened onto this model. Read reviews, saw Sam's Club had it, and purchased. It is great...I can only drink decaf after 4:00 & sometimes I want hot chocolate, tea, etc., and the K-Cup side is perfect for this! And, I still have the option to brew my ground coffee in the same unit. And, I like the appearance of it for having it sitting out on my counter. Well pleased - highly recommend!

Used this for about a month. The programming is reliable. The digital commands are easy to use. I've tried two different sized paper filters and am not happy with their fit at all. I'll search for an alternative. I just wish there were a removable fine screen filter. If the paper filter doesn't nest in it perfectly then you run the risk of having a mess on your hands. The water tank is a bit difficult to pour into if you have to place your coffee maker under an overhung cabinet. It is in the back of the unit and if under an overhung cabinet it is difficult to open the top lid completely. The single serving feature is very convenient. Oh yes - one more thing - even if I preheat my mug, the coffee doesn't come out as hot as other machines offer. I gave it 4 stars because it does offer the single serve feature and my observations may very well have been nit-picking! I'm still looking for the perfect coffee maker!

So far I'm liking this machine. It does make a little noise when using the single serve side, but it's not bad. I like that I can make a pot when I have company or just use the single serve side for myself. Being able to use the feature for bold brew is nice as well.

The value and ease of use is fantastic! My only complaint is that if someone wants to make a kcup coffee while the carafe is still on the warming cycle it turns off warm so the coffee in the pot won’t stay hot. I bought this so we could all have our coffee the way we want and this makes it a bit difficult. We are working around it but it would be nice if there was a function to turn the carafe warmer back on

I bought this a l one day only sale event for an awesome price! So far it is great. I received it the week before Thanksgiving we had Thanksgiving dinner at my house and family had nothing but positive comments about the machine. Even my husband was pretty impressed with the Dual feature and how it looked. I'm so happy with my choice. The fact that I got it cheaper at the one day sale event was totally great, but I would have even paid regular price for this machine because it's still a good price to pay for what you get..

I’ve had this for a month and a half and really enjoy it. Full pot for when everyone’s home and k cup or single serve of my choice when I want. I do max of 12 oz for k-cup and haven’t had a problem with melting plastic or taste. Directions say say 10oz max. Would be 5star if single serve was programmable and could brew more on single serve k-cup like the brew your own option.

I love this dual coffee pot! My Kueriq needle clogged and I could not descale it. Needless to say I had to throw the coffee maker away. I found this Hamilton Beach Flex Brew Coffee Maker and I must say each cup of coffee is hot, unlike the Kueriq and I love the option of being able to make a pot of coffee or just a single cup. This was definitely an all time best purchase.

I bought this about a month ago to replace my Kuerig. It’s easy to use and gives the flexibility I was looking for. The only reason I didn’t give it a five star review is that you have to add water every time you want to make a cup. This is annoying when you have cupboards above...you have to pull it out every time.
